The spring challenge last square wants 25 chocolate, this seems impossible as each window has chance of getting a chocolate is one of eight so to get the goal you would have to play over 200 windows in 24 hours.  

Add the chocolate to your wish list and hopefully your friends will be generous with the chocolate they already have. 

Whenever the day's CC is asking for something which can be obtained through the wish list, I always look for my friends who have it on their wish list and gift them first.

The chocolate is one of the items that falls randomly from HOS completion. If you have many friends who are still sharing their event rooms, it may not be as impossible as it seems.

(Day 2 was to get 15 Plain Stamps. A stamp is not guaranteed at the completion of an HOS...it comes randomly along with the pet food. Plus, if you get a stamp, it may not be a plain one. That said, I decided to first go through all my available event rooms to see if I could get the stamps before putting them on my wish list. I had gotten the 15th one before I finished all of my rooms. I got at least 3-4 more.)

The collection of a plain stamp is more random than will be the collection of the chocolate. A player will receive one of the 7 event items that can be traded with the kiddos at every HOS completion...whether inside the event rooms, or from regular HOS rooms. So, if someone hasn't received all 25 after completing the event rooms displayed by friends as well as the 8 in their own game, one could continue to enter other HOSs to see if the remainder of the chocolate will fall......................or, as LvlSlgr said.............just put them on your wish list and hope to receive them from friends.

(But....be sure to not collect them until the task unlocks!!!!!!)

Seldom do I put items on my wish list because I've always been able to get them.

However, 5 Unique Stamps were requested on Day 18 of the CC released on October 21, 2016. I wasn't sure I'd get a chance to go through all my rooms the next day, so I put them on my wish list.....I had more than enough................yep, collected them all and sent return gifts and then shouted to the walls after I realized what I'd done. sigh, Sigh, MEGAsigh!

I find the eggs the hardest to get. I did my entire rounds and got just one healing herbs. You need 10. It took me six rounds of the castle to get the 20 magic beasts, and I’m on level 122. 
 

Between that, trying to do all my friends rooms and trying to fulfil the next request (I’ve nearly reached the max level) I just can’t play for that long each day. I’m feeling very frustrated. 

I think they are making things too hard I want to have a life outside of playing the game.

A "challenge" ...as in a Castle Challenge...is indicative of something that needs to be worked hard at for achievement. So, I don't expect the tasks to be easy. AND, frankly, (just my opinion) all of the tasks should be set so the player needs to secure/do all tasks by themselves. (Putting Plain Stamps on a wish list and waiting for friends to gift them is not a "challenge" to me). 

Also, the Castle Challenges were really meant as "busy work" for those players who were maxed in the game and getting bored. My opinion is they were created to keep many of those players "in the game" and playing.

That said, I've noticed an increase in the number of floating objects during the tasks. I'm sure the assumption is that most senior players have an abundance of carrots, holiday wands, ghost traps and can easily get several more of the particular item being requested.

HOWEVER, what they fail to consider (again, in my opinion) is that because there are so many of the floating objects, they don't come around as frequently. This requires more time being invested to get the particular one needed for a daily task. ..............That many of us are retired doesn't mean we have nothing else to do other than constantly be playing one single game. I, for one, am far more busy now that I'm retired than I was when working......because I'm getting to do things I want to do that have been neglected/put off for many years.

Conclusion: I don't think they're deliberately making it more hard. I just don't think they've thought it through all that well or looked at the challenges from different directions/perspectives.

Hope no one in the castle is planning a potluck any time soon, because anything I would bring would have no flavor, can't find a damn herb for seasoning anywhere in the castle!!

Update: Finally, after about 5 more trips around the castle, herbs collected!!

Wow! That was really bad. I did two trips around the entire castle and got 3 each time. I stopped after that and waited until the new day. Then I got the final 4 just going through the first 2 areas.
