I don't know if anyone else has tried this. When you go to a HO scene, and want a particular item, to balance your inventory or what ever. If you click on the info to see the items available on that HO, then click on the one you want, then close, you are more apt to get this item. On the current CC, I had gotten one pet and was trying for eggs for the second pet. I didn't remember to do this every time, but at the end of the day I had 15 of the eggs I wanted and 2 of the ones I didn't need from the games that I remembered to do this. I also do this on ZZs, and it does seem to increase the odds but to a much lesser degree.

It's not 100%, but it increases odds of things I want to stock up on.

Others have said when you open the Fortune Wheel ....click a couple times on the item you want and that will increase your odds of getting that item.

I've tried both of these theories over the years..........in my games, I've found that sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't. I haven't been able to determine if it happens in a positive manner more frequently than in the opposite direction.

But.....it never hurts to try. And, some people swear by it as well as saying different avatars work better when playing the Dice Table. 

For me, I've basically concluded that it's all random. It happens when it happens and doesn't happen when it doesn't. LOL

I never tried it on the fortune wheel, but I am going to for sure. Thanks.
