Dair,

I read your post and send some words for you to read, that may ease the pain you feel.

Not my words only others that say things much better than me.

Dair I am so sorry fr your loss. Many prayers going out to you and your family.

Dair, when you feel very anxious or stressed, just take a minute to breathe.  A very long time ago, I had a friend who owned a beauty shop.  When the kids were young (my son, her daughter), I would take them to school then swing by the shop to share a cup of coffee.  She had a customer who had lost her husband like 10 years before this conversation, always talked about him lovingly and missed him dearly.  As she was talking, I still remember to this day thinking, wow, to suffer such grief for so long.  I don't know how she gets through it.

Well, the world turns, and now I've been suffering that grief for years.  All you can do is put one foot in front of the other and keep moving.  My husband is always on my mind and I miss him terribly.  I miss touching him and talking to him.  He was my best friend and there wasn't anything I couldn't talk to him about.  There are times I just break down and cry.  But I do manage to remember some of the good times and smile.

It's hard and the struggle can be long, but just keep doing all the everyday things.  Allow yourself to feel whatever you're feeling.  And allow time to help with the healing.  The grief may never go away, but it will get to a point where it doesn't consume so much.

My thoughts are prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry.

You'll never forget him, but it does get easier.

My heart is with you and love, prayers and virtual hugs go to you. Please read Journey of Souls, I’m finding it very comforting with my husband of 43 years getting ready to take his journey home.
