He's so cute!

We have Groundhog's Day in Canada too.  Wiarton Willy is our official one.  He's an albino groundhog.  So cute!

But I really don't get the theory.  It's supposed to predict EITHER 6 more weeks of winter OR an early spring.  But I live only a couple of hours from Wiarton, and let me tell you, if winter was over by March 16 that would be an early spring!  I can't remember the last time we didn't get snow in April.

For all of you who love groundhogs so very much, feel free to stop by and take away the family of 'hogs that lives under my porch.  Very destructive, and really, not all that cute! grinning

Pictures, please!

We'll decide what's cute or not!

No photo description available.

Yall may think these babies (from a few years ago) are cute, but you can't smell them, or fend off the million flies they attract, lol.  One of these, (the one with the black tail you can't see in the pic) is now a 20 lb. monster with his own extended family under my porch!

Lol....I'll concede "cute" if you'll concede "smelly"!

Well, it's not bad right now; they are hibernating!  It can get really bad in the summer, though.  That picture was taken by a friend standing on the porch and looking down, so while they are frolicking around their burrow, we are getting the smells and flies on the porch.  That hole they dug is about 18" in diameter now, I trip on it when I'm cutting the grass!  smiley_cat
