Still not able to Play on iPad   Technical Issues

Yes, you’re still on my friend list - in red. So I do have your iOS number. It’s 329864. Maybe with the Christmas event they’ll be able to fix things so you can start playing again.

Hi Maggie,

I still can't play either and I keep trying with customer support but got the same as you.  They are working on it.  I even contacted Elephant Games and they did answer me back with the uninstall reinstall suggestion.  I told them I tried that and everything else but since the games are housed on their servers this kind of problem is something they need to address.   I haven't heard back from them.  This is just so frustrating.  After spending years of hours and way too much money on the game to just be brushed off and forgotten is really hurtful.  This is not the Big Fish Customer Support I've known in the past.  I even responded to their usual survey email with a "very dissatisfied" and explained why and hoped that would maybe work but it didn't either.  I didn't even get a response to it.   I don't even know what to think at this point.  I'll keep checking back and I hope we are all able to play again.

I’m still trying ( since 10/31). I’ve been working directly with the developer- Elephant Games. They tried to rebuild my game but found a new problem. I’m hating this!

Hi LDiana,

Are you kidding me?  You actually have someone doing something to help you?   I have been emailing Big Fish since early November and Elephant since early December and have gotten no help nor any promise of help of any kind.   And I have to tell you it has really been awful.  I have been a Big Fish member since 2011 and owe hundreds of their games and this has been like a slap in the face.  Not only was no help offered but usually not even answered or acknowledged.  I've never seen customer support (and I use this term sarcastically) handled in such a poor manner.  I'm retired now and my husband in in late stage dementia which I suppose is why the games became so important to me.  And when I did work it was for a major bank and the majority of my job was customer relations and trust me on this if I had ever let a customer go for two months with a problem unresolved or treated them the way I've been treated I wouldn't have retired I would have been fired and rightfully so.   

At least you got some response.  I'm happy for you and hope you're able to play again soon.

Hi LDiana,

No I still haven't gotten my game back.  I've contacted Elephant Games and our Big Fish customer support every few weeks but haven't had any luck.  Elephant didn't even respond but the last answer I got from Big Fish was that they were waiting for Elephant to create a fix across the board that would fix everyone's game at the same time.   My games been gone three and a half months now.  I missed most of the Fall Event and all of the Winter Event so I have no clue how they intend on addressing that issue.  I don't even know if I got the diamonds I purchased which caused  the whole problem to begin with.

You still don't have yours back?  I thought I read a message that someone at Big Fish was rebuilding your game.  I'm so sorry.  It's awful isn't it.  I can't believe how much I miss it.  And all the hours and money I poured into it.  If you would have asked me in November when it happened I would never have said that we'd be waiting almost four months with no answer in sight.  

I guess there were lots of people who lost their games.  A friend told me there were even complaints on the Better Business Bureau website because of the money they had spent and that no one seemed to be helping them.  

A game shouldn't matter that much I know but I'm old and caring for a husband with dementia so I'm pretty much housebound.  It really was a huge part of my day and I do miss it.  

I promise if I hear anything more I'll let you know but for now they told me there is nothing they can do but wait for Elephant to make an update that will fix all of the lost games.

Dear Boo and Diana:

sooooo sad that your games are still not playable. In the past when old forum was up, a few people lost games to possible game corruption on servers. Big Fish in conjunction ( most likely) with elephant games, put together an entire new game for the person(s) at their current level, with items deemed, what would be average player at that level. I don’t know about the achievements or avatars. 
been helping the consortium in anticipation that your games will be back in some form....so then we can SHOWER items upon you.

Hi Crystal P,

So glad to hear from you.  I'm afraid I've lost all my other friends after all this time.  It's good to know you're aware of this bizarre situation.  I doubt all my friends are aware of it or the forum.  And one of my friends who does know about says my game has been 'green' for ages so it looks like I'm playing but not gifting.  

I had a situation once when we had a Castle Challenge and the countdown timer was messed up and cut my game off before I could finish even though I really had a couple of days left.  They were really helpful and nice about it when I let them know and they did give me the last avatar so hopefully they will do the same with the event avatars we missed out on.

I've heard about the consortium but don't really know how it works.  If and when I get my game back I'll be sure and message you so you can tell me what to do.  I have always wondered and wouldn't mind helping out myself when I can.
