Champs-Elysees, Paris

With the Arc de Triomphe at one end, the Place de la Concord at the other, and a slew of high and low end stores, theaters, bars and restaurants that adorn either side of this sweeping, tree-lined boulevard of Paris, is it any wonder that it’s one of the most famous boulevards in the world? It’s even got a classy McDonald’s. Hear “McDonald’s” with a French accent and it changes your ideas about Big Macs

Fifth Avenue (New York City) - is a major thoroughfare in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. It stretches north from Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village to West 143rd Street in Harlem. It is considered one of the most expensive and elegant streets in the world.

Howard Street (Hibbing, MN-goes through downtown)

From awhile back, notice the train tracks in the middle of the road.  Also the red building on the left was the hotel-The Androy.

The street today.  You can see the Androy Hotel sign in the background, the building is still there lower level used for events and the upper levels are senior living. Also no train tracks..............

Interstate 70

One of the final pieces of the Interstate Highway System and one of the most expensive rural highways per mile built in the U.S. Through a significant portion of the canyon, the eastbound lanes extend cantilevered over the Colorado River.

Katy Freeway (Houston, Texas) - is named for the suburb of Katy, located west of Houston, TX on Interstate 10, and comprises a certain span of I-10 west outside of downtown Houston. While it's difficult to say precisely where the Katy Freeway begins and where it ends, the 26-lane segment sits near the junction of I-10 with Beltway 8, also known as the Sam Houston tollway, 13 miles west of downtown Houston.

Remind me not to drive to/through Houston.
