From awhile back, notice the train tracks in the middle of the road.  Also the red building on the left was the hotel-The Androy.

The street today.  You can see the Androy Hotel sign in the background, the building is still there lower level used for events and the upper levels are senior living. Also no train tracks..............

Katy Freeway (Houston, Texas) - is named for the suburb of Katy, located west of Houston, TX on Interstate 10, and comprises a certain span of I-10 west outside of downtown Houston. While it's difficult to say precisely where the Katy Freeway begins and where it ends, the 26-lane segment sits near the junction of I-10 with Beltway 8, also known as the Sam Houston tollway, 13 miles west of downtown Houston.

Remind me not to drive to/through Houston.

Yikes, I'll second that..........................

Las Vegas Boulevard (is a major road in the Las Vegas Valley of Nevada, best known for the Las Vegas Strip portion of the road and its casinos. Formerly carrying U.S. Route 91, which had been the main highway between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, it has been bypassed by Interstate 15, and serves mainly local traffic with some sections designated State Route 604)

Moki Dugway.  Utah state highway that runs out of pavement and becomes a dirt road to get down the rock mesa.  Quite a drive!

The Narrows (is the tidal strait separating the boroughs of Staten Island and Brooklyn in New York City, United States. It connects the Upper New York Bay and Lower New York Bay and forms the principal channel by which the Hudson River empties into the Atlantic Ocean. It has long been considered to be the maritime "gateway" to New York City and historically has been one of the most important entrances into the harbors of the Port of New York and New Jersey)
