The Xinjiang Daily - is an official publication of the CPC Xinjiang Committee and is published daily by Xinjiang Daily Publishing. The newspaper is notable in that it is published in 4 languages, namely Chinese, which uses Chinese characters, Uyghur, in the Uyghur Arabic alphabet, Mongolian, in the Mongolian script and Kazakh, in the Kazakh Arabic alphabet. The newspaper includes news that focuses on the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region but also includes a small amount of national and international news.

The Zambian Watchdog - is an investigative online media platform that focuses on corruption and other major crimes such as drug trafficking in Zambia. It also contains breaking news on politics and major events in Zambia. The Zambian Watchdog was founded as a newspaper with an online edition, but was forced into exile in 2009 and subsequently closed its printed newspaper. Journalists for the newspaper operate undercover and anonymously in Zambia, but the editors lived in exile due to threats on their lives.

Actress Shoots Andy Warhol (On  June 4, 1968, Pop artist Andy Warhol was shot by Valerie Solanas, a peripheral figure in the New York art world. Two bullets from Solanas'.32 Beretta ripped through Warhol's stomach, liver, spleen, and lungs. Doctors barely saved his life -- in fact, he died, briefly, but was revived -- and the experience had a lasting effect on his art.  He was also forced to wear a surgical corset the rest of his life to hold his organs in place)

Ed Bradley - was an American journalist, best known for 26 years of award-winning work on the CBS News television program 60 Minutes. During his earlier career he also covered the fall of Saigon, was the first black television correspondent to cover the White House, and anchored his own news broadcast, CBS Sunday Night News with Ed Bradley. He received several awards for his work including the Peabody, the National Association of Black Journalists Lifetime Achievement Award, Radio Television Digital News Association Paul White (journalist) Award and 19 Emmy Awards.
