The New York Daily News, officially titled the Daily News, is an American newspaper based in New York City. Founded in 1919 as an imitation of the British Daily Mirror, it was the first U.S. daily printed in tabloid format. It reached its peak circulation in 1947, at 2.4 million copies a day.

Earthquake And Fire: San Francisco In Ruins (The 1906 San Francisco earthquake struck the coast of Northern California at 5:12 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18 with an estimated moment magnitude of 7.9 and a maximum Mercalli intensity of XI. Frank McGee - was an American television journalist, best known for his work with NBC from the late 1950s into the early 1970s. McGee joined The Today Show in 1971, replacing Hugh Downs, who had hosted the program since 1962. McGee moved Today into a more serious news presentation, insisting on opening and closing the show by himself while sharing other duties with co-host Barbara Walters. McGee last appeared on Today on April 11, 1974, six days before his death at the age of 52 from complications from multiple myeloma, a type of bone cancer.

Gaceta de Madrid (The first monthly gazette was published in 1661, becoming, in 1697, the weekly publication, the 'Gaceta de Madrid.'  Initially a private enterprise, it was taken over by the Crown in 1762 under the reign of Carlos III, and later evolved into its still current format of the B.O.E., the Official State Bulletin of the Spanish government)

Lester Holt - is an American journalist and news anchor for the weekday edition of NBC Nightly News and Dateline NBC. On June 18, 2015, Holt was made the permanent anchor of NBC Nightly News following the demotion of Brian Williams, making him the first African-American to solo anchor a weekday network nightly newscast. Holt is also known for his moderation of the first Presidential debate of 2016, and was praised for his role in fact-checking false statements.

Next to Harry Smith, Lester is probably my second favorite news anchor.

Last one ... I need to go work on my 10-part DQ in MC.
