You've Got Mail is a 1998 American romantic comedy film directed by Nora Ephron and starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. It tells the story of two people in an online romance who are unaware they are also business rivals. It marked the third pairing of Hanks and Ryan, who previously appeared together in Joe Versus the Volcano (1990) and Sleepless in Seattle (1993), the latter of which was directed by Ephron.

I remember those. Back then we thought it was wonderful!

The Arsenio Hall Show (1989-1994) - Comedian Arsenio Hall was the king of late-night television for five years. With his high top fade, funk house band (the Posse) and swagger, Hall (who also co-starred in the 1988 Eddie Murphy comedy Coming to America) changed the cultural landscape of talk shows—and showed how impossibly behind the times Carson, Leno and company were in the process. The Arsenio Hall Show distinguished itself by targeting audiences that had been largely ignored by other late-night talk shows. It offered a platform for Black celebrities, introducing hip hop to middle America with guests like Public Enemy, Tupac and Biggie, and hosting unforgettable performances by Michael Jackson and Prince.

I still have an external zip drive..........

Round 2....................

Butterfly Clips (A staple from the '90s, the butterfly hair clip is all about bringing some fun and vibrancy to boring old hairstyles)

Doritos 3D (Frito-Lay launched Doritos 3D in the mid-90s, with its "Laundromat" spot starring Ali Landry. When 3D Doritos were released, they were described as "Doritos-meets-Bugles.". They had a puff of air inside them, making them more round than traditional Doritos. 3D Doritos came in various flavors, such as Jalapeño Cheddar, Nacho Cheese, and Zesty Ranch)

Ellen "Coming Out" Episode (On April 30, 1997, in a widely publicized episode of the ABC sitcom Ellen, TV character Ellen Morgan (played by Ellen DeGeneres) announces that she is gay. In the fall of 1996, word leaked out that the character of Ellen Morgan, a bookstore manager, might acknowledge that she was a lesbian, making Ellen the first prime-time sitcom to feature a gay leading character. Over the next six months, ABC relentlessly encouraged the hype, with DeGeneres herself fueling the fire by joking in television interviews that her character was “Lebanese” and resisting attempts to clarify her own sexuality. A week before the episode aired, DeGeneres made a well-publicized “coming out” of her own, appearing on the cover of TIME magazine under the headline “Yep, I’m Gay.” An interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC’s 20/20 ran on April 25, during the all-important “sweeps week” for the network. An estimated 42 million viewers watched April 30th’s special hour-long episode, which featured cameo appearances by Laura Dern (as the woman Ellen falls for), Oprah Winfrey (as the therapist to whom she makes her revelation), k.d. lang, Demi Moore, Billy Bob Thornton and Dwight Yoakam. Later episodes of Ellen failed to hold audiences, however, and by the end of the 1997 season the show was canceled due to low ratings)

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990-1996) - Admit it, you can sing this theme song from memory. But this show gave us more than just the timeless catchphrase “Yo, home to Bel-Air!” In chronicling the fish-out-of-water adventures of Will, a Philadelphia teen sent to live with his outrageously wealthy relatives in Bel-Air, the show was able to subtly examine issues of race and class within a classic, snappy sitcom structure. And in its more dramatic moments, it hinted at the acclaimed actor that star Will Smith would become. All that, plus it gave us “the Carlton”!

Comment: This still is one of my favorite shows.

This was the first episode. I don't own anything.

Good Friday Agreement (or Belfast Agreement, is a pair of agreements signed on 10 April 1998 that ended most of the violence of the Troubles, a political conflict in Northern Ireland that had ensued since the late 1960s. It was a major development in the Northern Ireland peace process of the 1990s. Northern Ireland's present devolved system of government is based on the agreement. The agreement also created a number of institutions between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, and between the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom)
