                        "BACK TO SCHOOL"

"Train up the child in the way he should go

and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

                                                      Proverbs 22:6

"Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest

thou shall forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest

they depart from the heart all the days of thy life: but

teach them thy sons, and thy son's sons.

                                                       Deuteronomy 4:9

"And ye fathers, provoke not your children

to wrath: but bring them up in the

nurture and admonition of the Lord."

                                                       Ephesians 6:4

Well it's that time of the year again.  Kids will go back to school again or start to Home School.  Hard to believe that the summer is almost over.

The computer gives a wonderful opportunity to gather support and information for ourselves and others.  Fall will be here before you know it.  Then all the wonderful fall holidays.

Yes, I am getting a little ahead of myself. I do have some ideas that will help you do unit studies or just learn something new.

"BACK TO SCHOOL IN THE BIBLE"

"Train up the child in the way he should go:

and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Proverbs 22:6

What does the Bible say about learning?

"My son, hear the instruction of thy father,

and forsake not the law of thy mother.

Proverbs: 1:8

"Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest

thou shall forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest

they depart from the heart all the days of thy life: but

teach them thy sons, and thy son's sons.

                                                       Deuteronomy 4:9

"And ye fathers, provoke not your children

to wrath: but bring them up in the

nurture and admonition of the Lord."

                                                       Ephesians 6:4

"Time for Tea"

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variables, neither shadow of turning."

James 1:17

Let's have a Tea Party!!!
Why don't you pour yourself a cup and I'll pour one here where I am.  We can pull up a chair and then we can have a nice visit together for a while.
I'm partial to raspberry tea myself.

If you are serving a pot of tea, you will have good results with this recipe:

1.  Rinse out the teakettle and start with fresh, bottled water in your teakettle.

2. Bring the water to its first rolling boil.  Never overboil!  Overboiling takes the oxygen out of the water, which in turn creates a flat beverage.

3.  Add your favorite tea bag

Do you make sun tea?  Place a gallon jar of purified water with 3 or 4 family tea bags in the sun.  Bring in add your favorite flavorings.  Serve with ice and place in the refrigerator.

Garnish with a peppermint stick on the side.

Making your house a home is really a way of expressing

your heart and love by using your creativity.  Now don't say you aren't creative.  Some people just have to work harder on it then others. But we all enjoy having beautiful things around us. Beautiful does not have to be expensive.
