Walt:

Lynda and I just today got word of this tragic news and we were both stunned.  Our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to you, to your sons and daughter and their families, and to your extended family that makes up this forum.

Janie will be missed by everyone who has had the pleasure of knowing her.

- Ron and Lynda Rizzo

Walt,

Words seem so inadequate right now. It so hard to grasp that she is gone.

Heartfelt condolences and love from Kentucky,

Carrie and Carol

My deepest sympathies, Walt.  The world is truly a darker place as one of its brightest lights has gone out.  Though I only knew your beautiful bride here at the forum, I felt a genuine pain at hearing of her leaving.

No need to reply, I know you're swamped.

And if you don't object...

Great Spirit guide this gentle soul to her place in the hereafter.  Grant comfort to all those who loved her.

Walt, words cannot describe our sorrow.

We will continue to carry Janie in our hearts as the wonderful, forever young, breath of fresh air that she was.  We always knew that as soon as Janie joined us on the porch at Laurel Park that we were in for a wonderful fun story and a good time.  We will remember those smiles and good times.

You are in our prayers.

Mike and Robbi

Walt,

My best wishes to you and your entire family.  Such a sad day.

Walt,

We were never given the privilege of meeting you or your precious Janie, but we shared many conversations here in the forum. May you be comforted by knowing that Janie left this earth knowing that she was your love, and that she'll be waiting for you to join her.

God Bless You,

Lisa

Dearest PoppyMoto,

It was you and Jane that were instrumental in our joining the Polar Bears back in 2002.  You always welcomed us to sit with you guys whenever possible.  Janey's wonderful, loving hugs will always be remembered.  Her acceptance of people for what they are, and no expectations of changing them was a wonderful aspect of her personality.  We sure could take a page from her book in her utter joy of life.

Her smile was so infectious, and her zeal for riding, even when it got bitter cold, was an example to us all.

Our hearts go out to you and your family.  Their contributions to the service (the eulogies and singing) were outstanding!  I kept trying to picture myself in their shoes, and I know I wouldn't have had the strength to do it.  God Bless them - it is something they will long carry with them - what they said and did.  The father was a "honey of a guy", as you know; I gave him a big hug as we were leaving, and said, "Honey, that was a beautiful service!"  He hugged me and thanked me with a chuckle.  How wonderful he knew Janey so well!

Thank you, Walt, for everything.  I believe that our loved ones, once they've passed on, can be with us in the speed of a thought.  With that in mind, it could be easy to think she is still there with you - in some form.  I know she's certainly still in your heart - forever.

Prayers go out to you and yours, and if there's anything we can do, you've got our number.  We love you, big guy.

God Bless you,

Arms around,

Debbie & Clyde
