Walt, my friend, you show a greater strength than I feel like I would be capable of under the circumstances. I know that I, as well as many others on this forum would love to be with you during this trying time. To be sure, we're all with you in spirit. Again, prayers to you and yours. And God bless Janie. For sure she's in a better place now. She certainly deserves it.

I am speechless.  I just found out about your loss on Jack's Blog.

I don't know what I can say that will lessen your pain on your great loss.  Even though I never met you, and I have been on and off on the forum, I felt you and Janie were my brother and sister on wheels.

Dearest Walt,

I only "knew" you and Jane through the about.com forum and a little through this forum. Still, it was clear to me that jane was a special and kind spirit--someone who always stood out. I always enjoyed reading about your trips and the happenings at Maggie Valley.

Please know that you are in my prayers and that my heart is heavy thinking of you and your family's tremendous lost. May you find peace and joy in the memories...

Walt:

Barbara and myself are saddened by your loss of Jane, There are no words that will fill the void left in all our hearts. Jane as you know was a special lady to  yourself and her family. Jane will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Walt and the Kern family.

We have ridden many miles with Walt and Jane. Most recently we rode to Orange County Choppers as a Group event. Although the weather was overcast and rain forecast was 60% chance of showers we all decided to go for the ride. Barb and I will have this memory with us as it was the last time for Jane and us to ride together. There were no strangers in Jane's eyes, only Friends she has not met yet.  No matter the weather or events of the day Jane was one to arrive with a smile and arms outreached for a hug.  Jane we are happy that we had the opportunity to meet and ride with Walt and yourself,  Rest in peace our friend.
