Walt,
We were never given the privilege of meeting you or your precious Janie, but we shared many conversations here in the forum. May you be comforted by knowing that Janie left this earth knowing that she was your love, and that she'll be waiting for you to join her.
God Bless You,
Lisa

Dearest PoppyMoto,
It was you and Jane that were instrumental in our joining the Polar Bears back in 2002. You always welcomed us to sit with you guys whenever possible. Janey's wonderful, loving hugs will always be remembered. Her acceptance of people for what they are, and no expectations of changing them was a wonderful aspect of her personality. We sure could take a page from her book in her utter joy of life.
Her smile was so infectious, and her zeal for riding, even when it got bitter cold, was an example to us all.
Our hearts go out to you and your family. Their contributions to the service (the eulogies and singing) were outstanding! I kept trying to picture myself in their shoes, and I know I wouldn't have had the strength to do it. God Bless them - it is something they will long carry with them - what they said and did. The father was a "honey of a guy", as you know; I gave him a big hug as we were leaving, and said, "Honey, that was a beautiful service!" He hugged me and thanked me with a chuckle. How wonderful he knew Janey so well!
Thank you, Walt, for everything. I believe that our loved ones, once they've passed on, can be with us in the speed of a thought. With that in mind, it could be easy to think she is still there with you - in some form. I know she's certainly still in your heart - forever.
Prayers go out to you and yours, and if there's anything we can do, you've got our number. We love you, big guy.
God Bless you,
Arms around,
Debbie & Clyde

Thanks, Meteorman.
I truly believe that. I also believe that once separated, when we are reunited, it will be like only a moment in time has elapsed. Although here on Earth, it may seem like an eternity, I think that when you finally are reunited, it's like only a minute has passed, with no long time of waiting and all sadness will be gone.... only joy.
Have you done any sailing lately? Last time I was sailing was about 6 years ago now, I reckon...
Our best to you and Deb.
Hugs,
Debbie & Clyde

Walt -
I'm so sorry to hear the news about Janie - I saw a post on Denny's forum. I've read so often about all the good times that the two of you shared. May the grace of God be with you and your family.
