Waradmiral,

I agree with virtually every sentiment you express so well.

Every sentiment save one, "We will never talk to one another again and I know you can't read these words..."

I mean no disrespect to you, or to Janie or Walt.  But I do believe we shall see each other again beyond that curtain, in a "new heavens and new earth."  Nor is my belief a bit of wishful thinking (IMO).  That new age which is still to come in its fullness has already invaded this vale of tears.  Christ is risen!  Christ is risen indeed!  Hallelujah!

Walt, It's Lonnie and am so saddened since hearing about Jane and what you and your family must be going through with this terrible loss of a wonderful lady.  Just wanted you to know my love is sent.

Aloha e Walt,

I am crying as I type this. My heart goes out to you.

Walt, I Just read of Jane's passing and I wanted to express our deepest sympathies to you and your family at this time. We had enjoyed meeting you both, at the luncheon held for you at Bucks Bounty on the Delaware river in 2007. Our prayers remain with you.

There are many more details. This link shows most of them with better pictures. Note that Jane is still in the car as the firemen rush over to put out the fire before they try to get her out. Their friend in the back seat crawled out through the window and is seen in the grassy area. This can be hard to take but it's what actually happened. I am hoping that she is unconscious here and not gasping for clean air as the smoke and fire approach her. The driver had lung problems from the smoke as she now tries to recover with multiple bone breaks and cracked ribs. Jane got the worst of whatever violent forces were present before rescue workers were allowed to try to get her out. I pray that she didn't know what happened to her. I am so sorry that I couldn't be there to help her and protect her.

Dear janie, I will miss you more than you can know-  our long talks on the porch at Maggie Valley and our nice rides in the rain and Sun going there and back,  I have always held a special place in my heart for you as I know you know. Now their is a void the size of Texas!!!

A very special friend and mentor you have been to me and to your family- God bless you and all your family- hugs to Walk from us too!!  Joan and Barney (Walter) Jennings  There will never be anyone like you Jane in my book!!!!

I looked at it Walt.  I see what you mean, and I hope what you hope.

I also heard your words Walt, and what I heard was a man that will return from the brink.

Your friend,

Scott

Walt, my friend, you show a greater strength than I feel like I would be capable of under the circumstances. I know that I, as well as many others on this forum would love to be with you during this trying time. To be sure, we're all with you in spirit. Again, prayers to you and yours. And God bless Janie. For sure she's in a better place now. She certainly deserves it.
