Living outside the U.S. for 20 years, I am constantly amazed at the primitive issues that concern many Americans.
All the current American issues have been solved in the E.U. years ago.
Last year, with a team of mixed gender and age families, had a competition in a village so small they put us up on gym mats in the local high school. In a typical American gym lobby, there are two doors marked "boys" and "girls" but here they said "home" and "visitors" all of our sports teams are mixed gender. All one should do, out of politenes is remember to zip up after using the urinal. To me, American "christian" culture being off track comes from Paul, as there are no scriptural references to Jesus having said anything about sex or gender. There are 10 commandments, but if one checks church notice boards, the number 6 share of sermon topics, seems to equal all the rest put togather.
