This crap has got to stop . . .

Pentagon Deep-Sixes Lt. Col. Dooley for Violating Muslim PC

Lt. Col. Matthew Dooley isn't the one who has to hang his head low.  That honor goes to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey.  Dooley is in the doghouse with the political, knocked-kneed Dempsey over his approved teachings about militant Islam.  That's right, approved teachings.

As a result, Dooley, considered a gifted officer with a bright future, has been handed a one-way ticket out of the Army unless an appeal he's filing succeeds.  But just like it's hard to beat city hall, it's tough to beat the Pentagon.  Dooley's last recourse is federal court.

Reports The Washington Times:

News of Col. Dooley's setback has emerged as some researchers of radical Islam are criticizing the Obama administration for downplaying the Islamic connection in a string of attempted and successful terrorist attacks, including the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15.

Dooley's woes began when he was serving as a war college instructor.  American Muslim groups didn't appreciate Dooley's materials, which provided an honest assessment of militant Islam.   A guest lecturer in Dooley's class offered strategic and tactical military advice in the event a Muslim nation (like Iran) acquires nuclear weaponry, which evidently didn't sit well with Pentagon or White House PC peddlers.

Again, from the Times:

Col. Dooley's downfall began in October 2011 with a letter sent by 57 American Islamic organizations to John O. Brennan, then President Obama's counterterrorism adviser and now CIA director.

Brennan is an unapologetic apologist for jihad, as Breitbart reported in February:

Domestically, he [Brennan] claims that radical Islam does not pose its own, unique threat to American security. He has helped strip language about "radical Islam," "jihad," and similar terms from government vernacular, choosing instead to refer to "violent extremism" in an attempt to deny terrorists religious credibility. When it comes to jihad, he stubbornly maintains the word does not belong in conversations about terror, no matter what terrorists themselves say.

This from Dooley's attorney, Richard Thompson, who is president of Michigan's Thomas More Law Center (per the Times):

"Yet, despite Gen. Dempsey's personal attacks on LTC Dooley, a command review board consisting of generals and colonels voted to retain LTC Dooley on the list for battalion command. But political correctness once again dominated the Pentagon. Gen. Lloyd Austin, the Army's Vice Chief of Staff, directed that LTC Dooley's name be removed from the Command List. Sadly, a principle of leadership -- loyalty to the men who are loyal to you -- is once again ignored. And violation of that principle in this case not only result

Study Finds Multiculturalist Brainwashing Makes Kids More Hostile to Other Groups

No one familiar with the typical consequences of liberal social engineering will find this surprising:

Children who are given anti-racism lessons in school are more likely to be intolerant outside the classroom, a major study found…

According to the Dutch report, ethnic hostility could be caused by a “a one-sided offender-victim approach to racism.”

That is, when you constantly rub children’s face in how awful they are for being European, unlike wonderful darling Mohammed, the kids react by not liking Mohammed very much.

The response is so predictable that you have to wonder whether educrats are really that dumb, or are deliberately instilling the intolerance they so sanctimoniously abhor in order to justify their ideology. A similar phenomenon can be seen with Affirmative Action, which seems tailor made to produce the anti-black racism that is endemic according to liberal doctrine but scarce in real life.

The inevitable result of progressive balkanization will be a backlash against the privileged special interest groups the liberal ruling class favors at the expense of the majority population. As the dead white male William Shakespeare put it, “Even a worm will turn.” Unless we put multiculturalism behind us and go back to a healthy melting pot approach, moonbatty screeching about racism will become a self-fulfilling prophesy.

On a tip from Smorfia48.

Enough already.

Wisconsin Teachers Attend Conference On Teaching “White Privilege” To Their Students…

Because white people are evil.

GREEN BAY, Wis. – More than 200 Wisconsin teachers and school administrators traveled to Green Bay last week to attend CREATE Wisconsin’s 2013 state conference.

EAGnews decided to join them, to get a first-hand look at what the program, sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, is all about.

State officials contend the CREATE program is nothing more than an effort to help teachers better understand and serve minority students. But as EAGnews previously reported, CREATE appears to have a much more broad and progressive agenda than simply working to close the achievement gap between students of color and their white counterparts.

Many of the presentations focused on how public schools supposedly promote “white culture” and “white privilege,” to the detriment to students of color. Presenters called on educators to recognize and acknowledge their white privilege and encourage their students to do the same. Only then, presenters argue, can all students truly receive a multicultural education.

The conference also focused on teaching race-based topics in the classroom and how to respond to student resistance when talking about white privilege. The goal seems to be to crush dissent, convince  white kids that they need to feel guilty about themselves and the society they grew up in, and convince minority kids that current American social structures are hopelessly stacked against them.

Teaching ‘white privilege’ to children

In a workshop titled “Establishing Critical Thinking and Multicultural Education in Rural Wisconsin Schools,” Dr. Marguerite Parks discussed the importance of multicultural education and how to create culturally responsive classrooms.

Of course the concept of “white privilege” was near the center of the discussion.

Parks, an associate dean for the College of Education and Human Services at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, said educators are often ignorant of their own “white privilege” or do not know how to broach the subject in class.

“What we often discover is that teachers don’t have the resources or don’t know what books to use,” she said.

What's wrong with this ad?

There are two gun-rights billboards in Greeley, Colorado depicting a black-and-white image of three American Indians (or Native Americans, if you prefer politically correct terminology).  Below the picture are the words, "Turn in your arms.  The government will take care of you."

As is to be expected from the mainstream media, this Yahoo News article and accompanying video only quotes or shows those who are disgusted, and believe that the ads are offensive, insensitive, and make light of atrocities the federal government committed.  If the left gets their way, in a day or two, we can expect the racist perpetrators to be shown with their heads bowed, teary-eyed, apologizing to the "victims" and their lawyer for hurting their feelings, making it nearly impossible for them to sleep, and nearly destroying their mental health.

This is political correctness and over-sensitivity run amuck.  Would Jews get offended at hypothetical ads for the Holocaust Museum showing images of Jews in Nazi concentration camps?  Would they be tormented by an anti-Nazi or anti-hate ad showing the same images?  Probably not.  They are offended at silly PETA ads comparing the killing of Jews to the killing of chickens.

But the Greeley ad is making a serious point about giving the federal government too much power and rendering citizens defenseless by taking away their guns.  If anything, it makes the government look bad.  Whether you agree or disagree with the message, there is nothing derogatory to American Indians here.
