Thanks!  I needed that laugh today.  (Bad pain day hit on grocery delivery day; I'm in fucking agony!  I need a stronger dose of hydrocodone, not this freaking 5mg candy.)

I may have asked before, but have you ever tried or considered medical marijuana?

Hopefully, this will bring you a small measure of comfort . . .

lol on the article, yes, it does cheer

Can't use medical marijuana with heart disease.  It can kill you.  Literally.  It can cause rapid heartbeat which can induce heart attack and stroke in an unhealthy heart.  I can't take ibuprofren for the same reason.  I'm stuck with tylenol, aspirin (limited due to my stomach problems) and the too careful use of hydrocodone which I would like to up but I do get too constipated if I take daily and it's dangerous to seek increasing these days.

That and I'm also irrationally anti-pot and always have been.  I'll leave you with the rational explanation.

I think I have reached the point today where the body kicks in its own defense.  I'm feeling warm.  Particular to my bone disease (so don't assume this helps all chronic pain patients, mostly not) that causes low grade temperatures.  This is actually kind of cool since they are low grade and not dangerous becuase heat helps pain albeit it's the damned disease causing the damned pain.  But, yeah, it's easing because I'm getting warm.  I am not complaining.

My daughter is anemic so she's always cold.  This was a bitch when we lived together - me always hot; her always cold.

Well, I'll try to keep you entertained at least.

I too have a high internal thermostat which has caused a little friction between me and everybody else *chuckle*. On the other hand, when I was surfing, I was always able to stay in the water much longer than my buddies who would be shivering in their towels while I remained comfortably catching waves.

I've always joked it was because I was half-French and hot blooded but well... turns out it was goddamned calcium deposits in my joints.  I preferred the ooh la la myth.
