Could Adolph Hitler be in Heaven?

***DAILY PERSONAL PRAYER FOR YOU: Father, today I come to You to re-dedicate my life to You. I have failed to surrender my life completely to Your will and way for my life, but today I give my life to You...fully, wholly, unconditionally surrendered to You! Use the days I have left for your glory. Make my life count for eternity. Let me be a vessel to bring the lost to faith in Jesus Christ and further Your Kingdom. In Jesus name I pray...AMEN!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: One of the great public acts of forgiveness in recent memory played out in a Dallas courtroom when during the sentencing phase the brother of a man killed by a white off-duty Dallas policewoman, forgave her, encouraged her to accept Jesus, and with the permission of the court gave her a hug as they both cried. Former Dallas office Amber Guyger came home one night and entered into the apartment of Botham Jean, a native of St. Lucia. Stating she thought she was in her apartment, upon seeing Jean puller her service revolver and shot him dead. A Dallas jury convicted Guyer of murder and she was sentenced to 10 years in prison. However, the incredible scene did not end with Jean’s young brother’s public forgiveness. Presiding Judge Tammy Kemp, a black woman came down from the bench and also hugged Guyger and gave Amber her personal Bible. POWERFUL! Of course the mainstream media gave virtually no coverage to this wonderful scene of love and forgiveness, especially Jean’s brother encouraging Guyger to accept Jesus and the Judge presenting her with her own personal Bible. Even more disgusting, the Foundation for Freedom from Religion said Judge Kemp's "proselytizing actions overstepped judicial authority" and has asked the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct to investigate. Welcome to post-Christian America in 2019!

Could Adolph Hitler be in Heaven? This is a question I get asked often and really puts to the test the words of Jesus, "That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The answer is YES, Adolph Hitler could be in Heaven. If it is impossible for Hitler to be in Heaven, then it is impossible for you and I to be in Heaven. You see my friend, Jesus died for the sins of ALL mankind. He died for the sins of Adolph Hitler just like He died for the sins of you and me.

If you ask me to speculate on whether Hitler IS in Heaven, I would say almost without hesitation that he is not. Adolph Hitler did not worship Jesus Christ, he worshiped himself. If in those last moments prior to his death he got on his knees and asked Christ to forgive him of his sins and invited Him into his heart by faith, then like the thief on the cross he most assuredly would be in Heaven for all eternity. However, it is clear that this man who could be blamed for the death of the ov

bob>This is completely wrong. Christians need to remember the words of Christ, "God loves those who love Him AND follow His commands/will" There is no way to claim Hitler loved God and follow His will. He went directly against God and His followers! Len posted the goals of the Nazi party just before this post. They clearly hated God and it was their goal to kill those who followed Him. The bible also speaks of a reprobate heart/mind, people like this have gone so far from God they can/will never come back to Him, they are evil, they seek to do evil, they will NEVER see heaven, they will "take their part in the lake of fire!!

bob>Great post! This clearly shows the underliing reason for the Nazi's setting out to kill ALL THE JEWS, they accepted and wanted "NATIONAL SOCIALIZIM' it became their God, it gave them the reason/power to believe in their race to be the supreme race and their evil spread throughout the nation! Today, we have the dems wanting to take power by using "SOCIALISM" as well, it will give them power, it will give them control if they ever get it! It's EVIL, it's mission is EVIL, we need to present it to the world and the example the Nazi's set needs to be brought up and presented to prove this!

Word for Word/The Case Against the Nazis; How Hitler's Forces Planned To Destroy German Christianity

By JOE SHARKEY
Published: January 13, 2002

THE chilling testimony of crimes against humanity by the Nazi regime in Hitler's Germany have been on the historical record since the Nuremberg war-crimes trials of 1945 and 1946. But any criminal prosecution, and especially one as mammoth as the case against Nazi Germany, consists of far more than public testimony in court. The Nuremberg trials were also built on many millions of pages of supporting evidence: documents, summaries, notes and memos collected by investigators.

One of the leading United States investigators at Nuremberg, Gen. William J. Donovan -- Wild Bill Donovan of the O.S.S., the C.I.A.'s precursor -- collected and cataloged trial evidence in 148 bound volumes of personal papers that were stored after his death in 1959 at Cornell University. In 1999, Julie Seltzer Mandel, a law student from Rutgers University whose grandmother survived the Auschwitz death camp, read them. Under the Nuremberg Project, a collaboration between Rutgers and Cornell, she has edited the collection for publication on the Internet.

The first installment, published last week on the Web site of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion (www.camlaw.rutgers.edu/publications/law-religion), includes a 108-page outline prepared by O.S.S. investigators to aid Nuremberg prosecutors. The outline, ''The Persecution of the Christian Churches,'' summarizes the Nazi plan to subvert and destroy German Christianity, which it calls ''an integral part of the National Socialist scheme of world conquest.''

Verbatim excerpts from the outline would require extensive explanations. Instead, the outline is summarized below. JOE SHARKEY

In the 1920's, as they battled for power, the Nazis realized that the churches in overwhelmingly Christian Germany needed to be neutralized before they would get anywhere. Two-thirds of German Christians were Protestants, belonging to one of 28 regional factions of the German Evangelical Church. Most of the rest were Roman Catholics. On one level, the Nazis saw an advantage. In tumultuous post-World War I Germany, the Christian churches ''had long been associated with conservative ways of thought, which meant that they tended to agree with the National Socialists in their authoritarianism, their attacks on Socialism and Communism, and in their campaign against the Versailles treaty'' that had ended World War I with a bitterly resentful Germany.

But there was a dilemma for Hitler. While conservatives, the Christian churches ''could not be reconciled with the principle of racism, with a foreign policy of unlimited aggressive warfare, or with a domestic policy involving the complete subservience of Church to State.'' Given that these were the fundamental underpinnings of the Nazi regime, ''conflict was inevitable,'' the summary states. It came, as Nazi power surged in the late 1920's toward national domination in the early 30's.

According to Baldur von Schirach, the Nazi leader of the German youth corps that would later be known as the Hitler Youth, ''the destruction of Christianity was explicitly recognized as a purpose of the National Socialist movement'' from the beginning, though ''considerations of expedience made it impossible'' for the movement to adopt this radical stance officially until it had consolidated power, the outline says.

Attracted by the strategic value inherent in the churches' ''historic mission of conservative social discipline,'' the Nazis simply lied and made deals with the churches while planning a ''slow and cautious policy of gradual encroachment'' to eliminate Christianity.

The prosecution investigators describe this as a criminal conspiracy. ''This general plan had been established even before the rise of the Nazis to power,'' the outline says. ''It apparently came out of discussions among an inner circle'' comprised of Hitler himself, other top Nazi leaders including the propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels, and a collection of party enforcers and veteran beer-hall agitators.

The regional branches of the German Evangelical Church, the main Protestant body, were often administered and financed through governmental agencies. The Nazis saw a distinct advantage in having Protestant churches ''whose supreme administrative organs were located within the borders of Germany,'' the outline says. This facilitated plans ''to capture and use the church organization for their own purposes'' and ''to secure the elimination of Christian influences in the Evangelical Church by legal or quasi legal means.''

The Roman Catholic Church, centrally administered from Rome, posed a different problem for the Nazis, whose relationship with that church in the 1920's had been bitter. In 1933, when Germany was under Hitler's total control, the Nazis made ''unmistakable overtures'' to the Christian churches in general, and to Catholics in particular.

Having already witnessed fairly smooth relations after the 1929 Lantern treaty between Mussolini's fascist regime and the church in Italy, many German Catholics ''accepted the Nazi proposition'' of peaceful coexistence. In July 1933, a Concordat was signed between the Reich and the Holy See.

''For the first time since the Middle Ages, the Reich itself had entered into an agreement with the Roman Catholic Church,'' the outline says. ''Moreover, the new treaty was apparently entirely to the advantage of the church. In return for the retreat of German Catholicism from the political scene, the church was guaranteed, by international treaty, freedom for Catholic organizations [and] maintenance of denominational schools and youth education.''

All Hitler seemed to demand in return was ''a pledge of loyalty by the clergy to the Reich government and a promise that Catholic religious instruction would emphasize the patriotic duties of the Christian citizen.'' This posed no big problem for the church, the outline asserts. ''Since it had always been the practice of the Catholic Church to abide by established governments and to promote patriotic convictions among the faithful, these stipulations of the Concordat were no more than legalizations of an existing custom. The Concordat was hailed by church and state authorities as marking the beginning of a close and fruitful collabo

THE NAZI PERSECUTION OF RELIGION AS A WAR CRIME: THE OSS’S RESPONSE WITHIN THE NUREMBERG TRIALS PROCESS

**

[1] The track record of both intelligence agencies and the Christian Churches in the war crimes field has attracted controversy. For example, serious allegations have been made regarding help given to suspected Nazi war criminals in the immediate post-war years by both the US Counter Intelligence Corps

in the Klaus Barbie case, 1 and Vatican officials as well as other senior Church official’s who co-operated with Nazism 2 and the fascist Ustasha movement in Croatia. 3

There exists, however, a less well-documented record of the Office of Strategic Services’ (hereinafter ‘OSS’) support for the Nuremberg prosecutors, which contributed to the recognition that the Christian Churches were amongst the early victims of Nazi war criminality.

This article is not an attempt to provide a detailed commentary on the OSS report published in the current edition of this journal. Instead, we will analyse some vital background, institutional and interpersonal dimensions of the OSS’s contribution to this aspect of the Nuremberg war crimes trials, particularly the important role of Franz Neumann, which places the report in its wider institutional and political contexts.

The Donovan Collection at Nuremberg

[2] Once General Donovan agreed to act as Justice Jackson’s deputy in May 1945, that is, as a senior aide to the head of the US Office of Chief of Counsel responsible for America’s contribution to the Nuremberg trials, Jackson’s office also acquired the services of OSS’s experts on Nazi Germany from the Central European Section (hereinafter “CES”) of the Research and Analysis (hereinafter “R&A”) Branch.

For purposes of exposition, this Branch’s contribution can be divided into three broad, and far from clear-cut categories: the supply of broad strategic analysis, the provision of personnel to augment and supervise Jackson’s own prosecution staff and other miscellaneous generalised support falling outside the first and second categories. Amongst the Nuremberg files of General Donovan4

head of OSS, i.e., America’s first central intelligence agency, is a hand-written note attached to an OSS / R&A report on the persecution of the Churches, which states simply “hold for Neumann.” But who was “Neumann?” Why should the leadership of the OSS allocate this particular individual responsibility for investigating and analysing Nazi religious persecution as one facet of this regime’s overall “crimes against humanity”, or, perhaps, crimes against the self-expressions of divinity?

[3] The focus of this article is largely on Neumann’s contribution to the analysis of Nazi religious persecution. This is primarily because his overall analysis informs so much of the documentation produced by OSS and other Nuremberg prosecutors and research analysts. 5

However, the work of other members of the OSS prosecution team, such as Drexel Sprecher, James Donovan, Whitney Harris, Bernard Meltzer, Thomas Lambert, and Robert Stevens, must not be forgotten. 6

Church specific material within the Donovan collection

[4] Materials generally relevant to the Nazi’s persecution of the Christian Churches can be found scattered across the Donovan/Cornell collection, and fall under different genres of OSS and Nuremberg documentation. These genres include draft trial briefs prepared by OSS and other trial lawyers, and internal memoranda between different OSS sub-sections and Branches providing services for Jackson.

Other relevant material is located within OSS Research and Analysis Reports (hereinafter ‘R&A reports’) specifically commissioned by Jackson, other earlier R&A Reports addressing aspects of how the Nazi’s governed occupied Europe, and in the many hundred Staff Evidence Analysis summaries of individual items of documentary evidence. One of the most important documents, however, is published in the present edition of this journal – namely a 91-page R&A report entitled “Persecution of the Christian Churches”, 7 and cited as “approved by the prosecution review board. ”This report’s own summary

Current LLM research degree candidate at the University of Central Lancashire. LLB University of CentralLancashire.** Professor of Law, University of Central Lancashire. LLB Southampton University; Ph.D. University of Sheffield..2 accurately distils its main purpose: “This study describes, with illustrative factual evidence, Nazi purposes, policies and methods of persecution of the Christian Churches in Germany and occupied Europe.” This study is important not only as a justification for the strategy adopted in subsequent trial briefs, but also for its elucidation of “criminal organisational” elements of religious persecution within, for example, Goebels Ministry of Propaganda. Although the report highlights its own limitations as a document restricted to sources then available in Washington, it also identifies various witnesses from continental Europe, whose testimony should provide vitally necessary supplementary evidence of additional, and much-needed probative value. We shall see that one of Franz Neumann’s tasks was to remedy these admitted limitations.

[5] The main headings under which this report analyses such persecution are as follows:

1. The Nature of the Persecution.

2. The Problem of Establishing Criminal Responsibility.

3. The Basic National Socialist Attitude Towards Christian Churches.

4. Policies Adopted in the Persecution of Christian Churches.

5. Methods Used to Implement the Policy of Persecution.

6. Organisations Bearing Particular Responsibility …

7. List of Chief Witnesses in the Cases.

8. Appendix: Wartime Documents Relating to the Wurttembergische Landeskirche.

[6] In characterising the nature of the persecution, the authors maintain the anti-positivist thesis that the very act of law-making can itself be considered a war crime, par

Of course he could have, because Jesus is not willing that any should perish, but, that all should come to a saving relationship with Him.

I don't know what part of "any"(which means every single person that's still alive), that people don't get, but, that's the end result of humanistic thinking and using human logic, instead of using and  believing what the word of God clearly tells us.

Yes, that's all true, but, let me make one final and very important point that we all know, but, might sometimes forget, especially when we are evangelizing.

An unsaved person cannot wake up one morning and say to himself, I think that today, as of right now, I'll become a Christian. He would be a false Christian because it doesn't work that way. A person must come under the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, now knowing that they are a sinner and in need of a Savior, and if they say yes to Jesus and receive Him into their heart as their Savior and the Lord of their life, they will be saved.

Now, could that have happened to Hitler in those closing moments of his life? Yes, it is a possibility, but extremely unlikely and for many reasons, which I'm not going to go into.
