I KNOW THE FEELING. CLOUDS AND HERE WE JUST KEEP HOPING WHAT COMES FROM THEM WILL BE CLEAR NOT WHITE. WE HAVE HAD JUST ENOUGH SUN TO GET RID OF LAST NIGHTS SNOW. BUT NOT ENOUGH TO GET WARM BY. I KNOW I HAVE BEEN GOING OUT WHENEVER IT POPS OUT. BUT THE WIND IS STILL COLD.

A friend gave me that book by Lear as a house gift. Its quite old but I love it and read it often.
Isn’t it marvellous? The illustrations, especially of the Jumblies, captured my childhood imagination. I like The Owl and the Pussycat, too, but The Jumblies is just wow!
