Good afternoon....PT early day....twice a week for awhile....had our lobster last night,...I love it...sunny and bright and warm...opened the window for awhile...hope you day is good....
Good morning Kitty. Hope your back is recovering well. Went down to
the farm yesterday, Weather was good. Got several things done. My
brother keeps forgetting things and changing things, strange to me.
Some warm dry days coming up, so the water and warmth should make
things grow lots over the next week.
Enjoy the day.
PT does help with the back....plus it is good to move...we have quite a bit of veggies planted....can't wait for squash....summer is my favorite squash.....also have lots of flowers planted.....our son who is a new grandpa is on his way to Iowa to meet his new grandchild a boy who is about 3 wks old now....excited for him.....hope your day is a good one...
Good morning Kitty. Glad you are doing well. Hope Susan is healing well. Think
she said she is healing quickly.
We aren't planting anything yet, this is our first night out of the 30s. My daughter
has lots of seeds started and bought some dirt so must be transferring them to
Happy for your son, grandkids are great.
Got my Monte Carlo registered but still haven't worked on the dents and shattered
window from the collapsed tent in the blizzard. It's inspected until the end of June
so have a little time.
Have a good day.
Brandy has an appointment with the oncologist Monday. She's in pain tonight. I will
call them later in the morning to see what I can do.
Keep us posted on Brandy.....todays project? Brian is removing the tile from the tub/shower we are replacing the tub with a shower stall....and they come early in the week, so Brian said it would have the area ready for them....he intends to hang plastic so we can still shower....a beautiful sunny day...supposed to get into the 70's today....will let you know if that happens....
Good morning Kitty. Bathroom remodeling is a lot of work. I almost
did it once. I did replace the toilet.
Is getting warm. Supposed to get up to 80 by the end of the week.
I stayed back here and worked on property. Takes both
of us to monitor Brandy sometimes. Brandy is on pain pill every
6 hours now instead of 12. She doesn't put any weight on that leg
anymore. Has appt with Oncologist tomorrow. Cornell is booked up
until November so going to Colonial next to it.
I'm working on the trees, yard, and pool areas.
Have a good day.
sink and toliet are staying....it is just remove the tub for a shower stall...which is still a big job Brian is getting the area ready....needs some more 2x4 and some "nailers" I am just doing ordinary stuff....planning dinner etc....have a good day...
Good morning Kitty. Really warm this week, not like Sanibel though.
Don't you need a tub sometimes for aches and pains?
I opened the pool but it might have a leak to fix and the salt isn't up
to 3200 ppm yet. Shock is very expensive. I ran out in the Fall and
didn't realize there would be a chlorine shortage. DE for our filter
has doubled in price, also, for some reason. I have enough DE for
the filter for this first run. Getting the chlorinator generating chlorine
quickly and we can skip the expensive shock.
Brandy not doing so well. Won't do any good to amputate her leg. She
would only live about 10 months and be in pain anyway. So with intervenous
pain killer at the hospital and pain pills here she can live normally for 6 to 10
weeks. So I woke up and knew my wife would be trying to stay up until 3 AM
to give her pills, so I got up at 2. Will get some more sleep after med time.
When our first daughter was born I was in Army basic training. When the second
daughter was born I was in college full time and working full time.
I think Brandy will be able to go on short walks with the pain killers while we say
goodbye to her.
Enjoy your warm weather.
we don't live in Sanibel anymore...permanently in Conn. and so we are happy with sunshine and 65 degrees PT went well just wish the pain would disappear maybe if I do the exercises more....it is hard to be motivated when it hurts when you move.....oldest daughter and our son are both in Iowa visited our new great grandson....they text with live visit with him and I got to sing a lullaby to him....what a bright eyed baby he is....I wish Brandy well
