Just a quick note to my two Sensational Senior friends ~ time gets away from me. I rise late and usually have coffee on the patio and wake up very slowly. I am mindful of the years I woke at 5:30 and was in school by 6:45 a.m. ~ I guess I don't feel THAT guilty.
So, Brandy continues to enjoy her life which is good. I've noticed that Finn has become more stubborn in his latter years. He does what Finn wants to do. We woke to his growl and bark at 3:00 a.m. as some type of critter must have come into our domain. He rarely ever barks ~ so when you are in a dead sleep, it is a bit alarming.
Cooler today. Strong storms over the Lake are pushing showers here. Hugs, susan
Time gets away from me as I said to Ernie. Slow to start each day. 9:00 a.m. rise and rarely get going until 10:30 a.m. Finn a walk and I jut don't take the time to go to my computer.
A few showers here. Purchased some additional perennials and would love to get them planted. A gal kindly gave me Sweet Annie and I need to place it in a large pot. Are you familiar with the fragrant seeds often brought in or made into arrangements? I just love it. Very difficult to purchase or find.
So, I've placed delphiniums and coneflowers and my herbs all together. Some critter ate the dill off, so now it is recovering in a pot. Love, love to go to my garden to snip fresh herbs.
Hope you are enjoying the summer. ((hug)) Susan
Continue to recover. Walking very good....no cane....on my own...just a bit slower than normal.
you get started faster then I do...altho I might get up earlier I don't start moving around too fast.....tomorrow we are having a friend from Sanibel coming here for lunch and a visit...glad she is close enough to do that...plus she doesn't mind a longish drive...today did several errands here and there and now just waiting for time to eat dinner....glad to hear you are moving better...I might be but should probably move more....miss you guys...stay well...hugs maybe you know the person that is coming? Karen?....
Ahhh....Karen who has the Samoya and the Goldens? How wonderful! I'm friends on Facebook if it is the same one.
Tell her I said hello.
Asked the Pharmacy why I feel so rotten? She asked how long I had been on the same antihistamine and I told her since September. She said I may have developed a tolerance and need to switch. Hm...wonder why my PCP and Allergist didn't think of that?
Karen from Tahiti with a little beagle type dog....so different lady...I can't believer your docs etc...didn't handle the situation....have a lovely evening...
Morning Kitty. I had a little hard time parking at the farmers market.
I did get some sweet peas, that and 2 tomatoes, $48. worth, so lots of
peas. Wife and I love them uncooked. I can't find them in the Fall.
We went to wife's family up north. I drank to much at the grad party.
But had fun.
My other niece in the same family is very sick, something wrong with
her immune system and her heart. She showed me the horse farm
where she keeps her horse. She had two because the other niece gave
the one back she had given to her. So she was working over 40 hours a
week at the farm to pay for two horses boarding but she gave one of the
horses away to someone she knows. They had two horses but both in
their 20s died of old age. This is the sick niece and her parents say she
won't be able to work at the farm after a medical procedure she has
Played the board game, sequence, up there for hours.
Have a good day.
Morning Susan. I'm getting up very early because Brandy can't walk in the heat
anytime but more so now that she's sick. She goes a mile or mile and a half, then
she slows down beside me and starts looking at me. Cocoa was much less timid, she
would just sit down until I turned around. Brandy spends much more time in the
bedroom laying on a bed on the floor.
We've had some storms. It's 54 this morn, so some cooler.
Sorry you're feeling poorly, hope the med change fixes it.
Have a good day.
Glad you were able to buy so many peas...and they are probably better "raw"..... a friend from Sanibel is visiting today for lunch here....I wonder when your niece will find out what is wrong...My daughter had similar symptoms and was diagnosed with MS..she is doing very well and the diagnosis was 10 yrs ago....earlier she was misdiagnosed .....going to have to learn about that game....haven't done it yet....hope your day is great...
Morning Kitty. Gave some of the peas to wife's parents and some to one
daughters family. So we will run out soon. They will sell them 2 more
weeks. Says he makes more money on string beans because they are
easier to pick.
They might know exactly what is wrong with niece, I'm not sure.
Did without shock for the pool at opening but ordered some yesterday, looks
like algae is starting. I use a salt water chlorinator so shock at start up and
closing is usually all the chlorine I handle these days.
I have lots of jobs to do. Don't know what ones I will get done. Hope to work
on my bike a little and get the exhaust straightened on the Monte SS. I might
get one dent on the SS straightened enough to put the new window in, then
have my brother in law fix the rest and do the finish. He has a body shop
and it's a difficult thing for me to attempt. Will still cost lot of money.
I used the undamaged parts of my tent that collapsed on the SS to fix daughter's
greenhouse that also collapsed in the December blizzard. First time got so
much snow since March 83, hope it's that long again.
Have a good day.
some little critter got into our garden and ate all the lettuce and the cabbage...and it is well fenced in...oh well the hazards of gardening.....all is well and it was a lovely clear and sunny day....errands and went to our daughters for a short visit then home for dinner...I hope you day was wonderful....maybe we will get to hear from Susan tomorrow.....
