I agree, I think both sides should want as much stability as we can get. Using all this for political gain is getting tiresome and it is hurting people. People are reporting that adults, especially young adults, are stressed to the breaking point. They were too young to be very affected by 911 and this is the worst thing that has ever happened in their lives. I think I told you I was out a few weeks ago and saw many teens and young adults playing sports, hanging out and not distancing anymore. I don’t think it’s rebellion so much as they can’t stand it anymore.
I agree. A lot of the non distancing we are seeing is exhaustion with masks, social distancing and isolation. Some people are content to be alone while others can't stand it. I'm seeing the stress of isolation in my daughter. It's scary.
Ventilator and respirator use in Arizona has quadrupled in the past week or so! Hang on, Arizona, we're going for a ride!
I’m also seeing it in people and it is scary.
I will try to keep you busy here. Busy minds stay healthier than bored ones.
Um, that is already kind of the case with one possible nominee. They would just plug in the VP candidate
That's kind of what I thought - they'd plug in the VP candidate, but I wonder if there is a governing document that properly flowcharts the process.

I think if the "president elect" dies or is unable to be sworn into office, then VP becomes President elect. If they both are unable I have no clue. If the VP elect is unable, the president elect nominates a new VP. I suspect somewhere is a chart that shows it all... I also suspect the Speaker,of the House would be involved somehow.
Surely if there's a proper flow chart, or some set of governing documents, then they should be out there somewhere to look up and download.
Indeed, I kind of suspect that we are nearing the "absolute maximum rating" of chaos intensity before catastrophic failure.
