As usuall the article on holidays left out the most important aspects for a lot of people. Often people look forward to shopping for holiday gifts, Christmas or other. No office parties, big family gatherings, no hours around the tree opening presents. No caroling because singing has been banned. No big Thanksgiving dinners where people who are otherwise alone might be invited.
