Looks like Trump won't have to worry about being Time's Man of the Year after all. The magazine has been sold to a company backed by right-wing mega-donors the Koch brothers.
I wonder if the sale will cost the magazine subscribers, people who value facts over right-wing rhetoric.
This country is getting more and more monopolistic, fewer companies and people owning more media outlets, more "competitive" businesses. Not good for the consumer.
It's probably too late for the incoming new ownership to make Trump the person of the year. Maybe next year (if Trump is still president).
The Koch brothers promise they won't exercise any editorial control over Time magazine. And if you believe that one, I've got an online bridge to sell you.
