Showtalk said...Today everyone is offended about something.
LOL... no kidding...
Even I'm offended that they feel offended! (* CHUCKLE *)
So you aren’t any different, LOL.
Yep. The Declaration of Independence would be considered as hate speech.
Yes, it would. They have taken time and context out of history.
And of course they teach that everyone who founded America was a racist and everything else, and they should have stayed living under oppression in Europe.
They hate the USA

Sounds like the Japanese like the USA better than Americans!
This is a Japanese group called "Da Pump" and their song "U.S.A.". It's quite a big hit here in Japan too. It's in Japanese but I'm sure you can understand the bits of English intermixed as well.
And this is the reaction of Americans about the song:
That is the new history.
Because overseas they realize just how well we have had it throughout our 245 year history, and probably see more of how we have been squandering it.
Meanwhile, from places like Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, etc. - everyone sees the 1.2 billion strong territoriality aggressive hippopotamus in the living room and what they have been doing in Hong Kong, the artificial islands built in international waters, and the upcoming invasion of Taiwan.
Then it's just a matter of time until Bejing wades ashore to call the tune.
