Sigh...its day 1 of so many quits I tell you I have lost count.

Longest I have gone was a month but now I need to just get the strength to quit. Day 3 is always the hardest for me.

Good job on choosing today to start!  There is no easy way to quit this addiction, however we are all here because we chose to quit.  Here are a few tricks I found helpful:  Take it one day at a time.  Drink ice water thru a straw, read the articles and postings on this forum.

You are unique, but your addiction isn’t.  You will be surprised to learn you are not the only one  experiencing symptoms, feeling, troubles and joys, so share them.

Believe in yourself!

Hi, making decision is the most important step, and committing to it daily. In April thread there is list of resources you can use to educate yourself and find out why the first days are the hardest. Also there will be people who go through the same. Don’t give up trying, you are strong if you managed to do it before, now you’re even stronger. How did that 1st day go?
