I saw the hummer coming in out of the corner of my eye, threw the camera up and shot without focusing or even knowing if I'd get the shot.  A second later, the gulf fritillary was gone and the hummer was by herself.

I may have cheered when I got it inside and saw it on screen.  I know I immediately said to my wife, "wow, come look at this."

Thank you.  Yeah.  The hummer usually doesn't let me get close.  She buzzed right by me to get to that blossom.
