If you are not into writing or POETRY lifestyle you will be bored here...
If it's important
It's important on the weekends, too.
The last Autumn's day this weekend
We went sailing to close the season
It was too cold but we made it to the end
To spite winter and its melancholy reason
Tell us things you never said outloud
Show us part of the world we would not be proud of!
"The Three Monuments" by William Butler Yeats:
And let all base ambition be,
For intellect would make us proud
And pride bring in impurity:
The three old rascals laugh aloud.
Yeats made these recordings for the wireless in 1932, 1934 and the last on 28 October 1937 when he was 72. He died on January 28 1939.
W.B.Yeats Reading His Own Verse
A poet's thought; among the very few
That lost his own pride as other spew
It is certainly difficult to admit
I have a feeling no one will quit
It's only a start why would we leave?
It's been a longtime since we've been...
We have been reciting poetry furlong
Which make our narration more strong
in a volume of Webster's,
I'd rather count the fallen leaves.
