The Ottawa Greek Community put on a Greek dance flash mob in the Byward market to promote the 2011 Ottawa Greek Festival.  The weather held out and we all had a good time!  Remember to Live a Day the Greek Way!

From a one day festival back in 1975, the Hellenic Community of Ottawa's Philoxenia established itself as the largest ethnic and one of the top festivals in Canada's Capital, Ottawa.
Today's Ottawa Greekfest shares its religion, culture, food and traditions with over 70,000 visitors in their annual 2 week event around August 15th, the name day of our church, Dormition of the Virgin Mary.

Such an honour for our recent society!
