The NER is a group of motorcyclists that self organize in this forum and a Facebook Group to ride and have fun with other riders. We are an inclusive group - all motorcycle brands are welcome. It is not a club – no dues, membership, or officers.
Most here don't know me. I have not looked it up in years. I wanted to say Hi to the few that do. I did not want to join the facebook group because, why bother but I was watching a video on there by this fellow called James Cormier. Damn he looks familiar but it can't be the guy I used to know! That guy had a funny name like "Old Crow" or "Stony Jim" or something and he was way younger. If anybody still looks at this forum HELLO. Also, I saw an old friend from school the other day that I have not seen in many years. I know he is an avid motorcyclist and I mentioned NER to him. He said he had joined the group on line but has not yet had a chance to ride with you guys. I encouraged him to do so. If anybody meets Sam Hannan please give him my best and show him what a great group this is! I can't stop wondering about that James Cormier guy. Maybe it's Old Crows uncle or something? Stay safe!
He used to be called Old Stone Jim.
Pretty sure that Jim aka OSJ can log into this forum.
Thanks Bob. I remember, I was just trying to get a rise out of him if he sees it. I hope you are well.
Thanks Kurt. I'm sure he'll see it sooner or later.
I'm not sure if he ever comes over to the Forum. He post pretty regularly on his Facebook page about his riding adventures, which are many.
Hi Bob… how are you doing?? Still riding?? Hope all is well with you both…. Carol :)
Hi Carol, I'm doing fine. We stopped riding a few years back. I promised myself I would use my rational mind when it came time to hang up the keys. We all age differently and it was time. Been keeping busy when covid restrictions aren't in the way.
Hi Roundzy, not sure if you remember me or not. Originally I went by Spirit 97 and am one of the original NER'ds and held The Maine ride every year for5 years up to the time I retired from riding in 2008. If it weren't for arthritis I'd still be riding at 85.
I have to agree with you about the people in this group. I have a facebook account but rarely use it. Glad to see you back in here. Ron
