From time to time and unethical seller will move a weapon in the gray areas of unregistered mail and sale, nothing short of government owned sales could even approach full control.  Mexico has among the strictest internal gun sales and rules rules in the modern world with what, one, legal gun store?  Who has guns down there?  Anyone that wants one.

Imported from the US, aren't they?

Imported from wherever they are made is very likely.  Sometimes intermediate stops or resale points may exist.  Some come from where they are stolen, including from the Mexican military.

With help/permission from the ATF.

Even government owned sales wouldn't stop it.

There you go again, making the argument that if laws won't stop all gun deaths, then we should have laws.

I guess that means we shouldn't have laws against murder, rape, theft, assault, and so on.

You're again ignoring the fact that we know from history and from many other countries that stronger gun laws reduce the number of people killed.

But we understand you are opposed to fewer people being killed, therefore you're opposed to any proposal that might lead to fewer people being killed.

There you go again, ignoring the fact that we already have laws in place.

The other countries you keep referencing didn't enact "stronger laws" - they banned firearms.

Why can't you just man up and admit that the "stronger gun laws" you want is an outright ban on all firearms?

Everything you wrote in that message is wrong.

He's probably referring to the ATF plan, first instituted while Bush 43 was president, and then continued under Obama, where they "ran" guns to Mexico to try to track and capture gun runners.

Of course, Swamp won't remember that Bush had anything to do with it. It's all the fault of the black guy in the White House.
