Flynn's talking to Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the transition was bad form and an attempt to undermine then president Obama's sanctions against Russia.  By itself, it was probably nothing that would be considered prosecutable.

So here's the elephant in the room.  If Flynn did nothing wrong or only something wrong that wouldn't amount to a hill of beans, why did he repeatedly lie to the FBI about it?
