I look at those peaches, and wish I were bright enough to invent a device that could save the juice that's bound to be wasted just from the mere act of eating them. Beautiful crop, Paul. :)

Day off today, picked up 200 gallons of goat manure.  While shoveling it in, I turn around and I'm staring eye to eye with a very ugly Llama.  Seems that this Llama is the goats "watch dog" and wanted to make sure we weren't up to no good. No idea how to deal with this ugly critter, I call up my friend who is sitting on his sail boat in the middle of the Chesapeake bay, "how do I get rid of the watch dog"?, just yell at him and wave your arms.....sure enough off he goes........whew!

Gonna make another manure run friday, anyone wanna go and keep an eye out for the Llama?

Naw, it's all pretty well composted now, pile been sitting there for a few months, will be using in the 07 garden.  The spitting I can handle, it's those sharp front hoofs that can do some serious damage.  I have never been eye to eye with a Llama before, at least on the same side of the fence.

How is that strawberry plant doing?

Some critter decided he wanted to eat my green beans before I could pick them.....grrrrrr.....

The strawberries are little green things about 2 inches high, looking healthy but not going anywhere soon from the looks of it.
