... and not just a billion dollars, also a billion Thoughts and Prayers!
WASHINGTON (AP) - Gun manufacturers have made more than $1 billion from selling AR-15-style guns over the past decade, and for two companies those revenues have tripled over the past three years, according to a House investigation unveiled Wednesday.

How can anyone place the blame of gun violence upon an inanimate object? Our problem is the growing rate of mental illness in the United States. We need to face this problem and work to resolve it should we truly desire to end gun violence.

More attention being paid to mental illness would help but it's wrong to blame the mentally ill or even the guns, The blame lies squarely on gun manufacturers who have been glorifying, promoting these weapons all over the world for ages. Hey ... we're dumping these killing machines everywhere as fast as possible, don't know who gets them, so you better arm yourself with ever increasing fire power Justin Case! We give a macho man, or a weak confused nutcase ... most are men ... a way to even the score with rapid fire!
If those lethal tools weren't around so much the crazies wouldn't have access to them so much either.
but that's s another world ...

Apparently, your bias is impeding your logic. Your next arguenent will be to outlaw knives using the same reasoning.

Yeah ... that's one of the inane arguments the pro gun lobby uses ... or what about cars killing all those people. Knifes do a lot less damage than a machine gun, they are not meant to kill people in normal use ... excepting switch blades maybe and they're usually illegal already, strangely more so than MR-15s which are meant to kill people, or a herd of wild boars a lot of people seem to be afraid of for some reason?

yep...........evidently we are on opposite sides of the issue. Criminals laugh at gun laws, so your answer is remove guns from the hands of honest law abiding citizens. Nazi Germany had the same idea, as do the global elitists. Glad to see there are now more people recognizing our constitutional rights and the reasoning behind teaching our youth a proper respect towards firearms.

Not sure we're totally opposite on this issue.
Before the arms industry flooded our streets with guns we didn't have crazies and kids running around shooting up the neighborhood. I'm really not into rehashing stale arguments and just rest my case on the well-regulated militia part.
didnt take long to apply Godwin's Law, did it ...

Can rest with such reply.
When our youth had better sense, they were not yet barraged with mass media hype.
