We should lose our rights to defend ourselves because of these types of people?

Don't know what they did to be on the list but I'm sure if we didn't have the glut of weapons brought to us by the NRA and the weapon makers along with the gun culture, sensible weapon controls, many of those events  wouldn't have happened to begin with. This particular mayhem happens only in the US of A at this alarming rate.

Criminals will always get weapons, always.  Look at Mexico.  Guns have been outlawed for years, yet the cartel all are well armed, making the citizens helpless.  The cartel rule the citizens of Mexico, and they rule with an iron fist.  There are 1000s of cases where law abiding citizens here in the states, stopped criminals in their tracks, because they were able to defend themselves.  Yet, those never make the news, never.  Did you ever ask yourself why is that?  Also, most all, if not all, criminals that have guns are against the 2nd Amendment, ya ever wonder why?

Law abiding citizens are not to blame for what a criminal does.  If your next door neighbor robs a liquor store, you should suffer the consequences because of another?  The NRA is not to blame for what a criminal does.  No more then a baseball company is to blame when someone uses a bat to murder.  Pharmaceutical drugs kill more Americans that guns do, and they're legal.  And they tell you right on the package in one sentence what it will do for you, and a paragraph, or two, of how it will harm and possibly kill ya.  Yet everyone lines up to get their prescriptions.

Every time there is a shooting, they use it to go after the law abiding citizens rights.  We know exactly what they are up to, and it will not work.  However, they never go after the real reason these crazy, insane kids are murdering innocent people.  It's the pharmaceutical drugs they are on, that say right on the insert that they can cause suicide and murder.  But then again, look at who pays the mainstream medias bills, the pharmaceutical corporations...

I often wonder why these murderers don't try this at a shooting range, instead they stroll into a place that is a 'gun free zone'.  They might be insane, but they ain't stupid, right?

I read the Reuters page this morning. Still over 36,000 (100/day) boggles my mind in spite of knowing this is a big country with a fair number (370m) of residents. Doesn't it exceed automobile-related deaths nowadays?

Not as of 2017 though gun-related deaths are close to traffic fatalities.
