I don't drink coffee and never have. I rarely drink sodas with caffeine. There is a root beer with NO caffeine I like.

Diet Coke is a good compromise because it has less caffeine than the same amount of coffee does.  It has sweeteners, though.

I should try that.

Yes, but only when I'm tired (or need to reset my internal clock).

I can't handle coffee. So I find other sources of caffeine that probably aren't any better, or might even be more harsh, when I truly have to be up and awake.

I drink Big K from Fred Meyer/Kroger. Affects me differently from Coke and Pepsi.

Then you probably don’t need it. Coffee relaxes some people, while others can process that much caffeine.
