Did you lose power during the Great Storm of 2021?   The Natural You: Wild Kingdom

Started Feb-18 by Showtalk; 5385 views.

I was actually listening at work when the announcement was made.

And thanks to the power supply damage from the rolling blackouts, the computer that I had set up to record the show every day was not operational that day.

Those huge bills should be cut way back. No one can afford it.

Many will just not pay them and sit there with a delinquency, especially if they have to move and leave no forwarding address due to the other calamities.

Many of those bills will work their way through the collection and bad debt industry for years until finally someone gets sued for the balance and they get a judge to cram most of it down to settle for maybe 10 cents on the dollar

Or someone in charge could lower them now so they get paid. I bet the companies don’t spect to collect.

I need to keep reminding myself.  I want it all to be right now!

The companies won't be allowed to get by with the high prices.  I haven't heard of any with high bills though.  I go to a neightborhood website n there are a lot of people on there from different areas.  There have been plenty of discussions about the lack of power etc but no one has mentioned a high bill.

You should be feeling much better now than when you went home.  Another friend got it so bad she lost the ability to walk while in the hospital for two months.  She’s able to walk and cook inside her home now, after about 6 weeks of PT.

So it’s balanced.  We don’t appreciate our utility companies until something happens.  Then we hope they come through for us.

I bet they don't. There's already bankruptcy lawyers advertising on how to shed those ruinous electric bills and throw in all the covid related losses at the same time.

2021 is going to likely see a mega-tsunami of bankruptcies once the relief packages run out.

And probably an apocalyptic level of student loan defaults and people bootlegging it under the table and under the radar because of the draconian consequences of those kind of defaults.
