I guess the concept of an analogy is beyond your level of understanding. First of all... what you quoted that I said was NOT SAID BY ME... IT WAS ACTUALLY SAID BY YOU TO ME... SO STOP TRYING TO SAY THAT I SAID THAT WHEN IN FACT I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT. OOPS... NOT ONLY AM I ON TO YOUR TRICKERY, BUT YOUR FAILED ATTEMPTS TO BELITTLE ME CONTINUE TO FAIL! You're pathetic! STOP QUOTING ME AS SAYING THINGS I DID NOT!!! FWIW

The text quoted above in bold WAS said by you.  The quoting Delphi feature lumped together your comment and my comment.

Now you are manufacturing a false quote and that is against Delphi guidelines.  I'm going to ask Showtalk to remove it or I will report it to Delphi.

I’m not sure why I can’t quote but it doesn’t work for me very often.  Actually, I don’t need a more reliable site, it looks like you want one.

You can’t change someone’s words or attribute a quote to them that they didn’t say.  There are other ways to make a point.

ROFLMAO...

Like I said pathetic.

I said you attempt to say you were quoting me and blaming it on a Delphi feature, but that is totally incorrect.

The following is post #98 from you to me:

I told you that you were quoting something I did not say! And if you look above, you said that I said what you actually said.

If you don't want to believe me... go back to post #88. This was your post to me where you said that... NOT ME. But if you look at your post above, you'll see that it was you who did the fake attribution of something I supposedly said when in fact it was you who said it!!!

I just did the same thing you did to me... right back to you... after you did it to me first. See my post above for details.

See what I replied to YWN666 about 2 posts above.

YWN666 said that I said something which YWN666 actually said.

THAT IS CHANGING SOMEONE'S WORDS "WHAT I DIDN'T SAY" WHILE ATTEMPTING TO SAY IT WAS A QUOTE FROM ME.

And then they attempt to blame it on Delphi because YWN666 said that is the way it works.

But that's not the way it works. They purposefully claimed I said something they actually said.

So actually it's YWN666 who should be warned because as you said... "You can’t change someone’s words or attribute a quote to them that they didn’t say" which is EXACTLY what YWN666 did. Post #98 from YWN666 to me quoting me as saying the following:

When in actually, if you go back to post #88... it was NOT ME who said that, but YWN666 as shown below:

My reply which you removed was a purposeful attempt to show exactly how things could be miss attributed, so if you're going to remove mine and get on me... then you need to do the same to YWN666... remove their post and warn them because they did it to me first!!!

In Post #98 YWN666 claims I said that when in fact Post #88 clearly shows that YWN666 is the one who said that! Therefore, YWN666 is purposefully misquoting me and attempting to blame in on Delphi's quoting feature. Well, it's not Delphi's quoting feature... it's the manipulative way YWN666 used Delphi's quoting feature and then turns around and claims it's Delphi's fault. This is a technique I ran across several years ago in another forum by trolls. They purposefully select only certain parts which one didn't say, but when you hit the Quote button on Delphi, Delphi will only quote the portion one highlights. So it's purposeful on YWN666's part to make it say that I said something which I didn't say and then attempt to say it's Delphi's fault when in fact it's YWN666's fault!!!

I couldn’t follow all that but if he attributed something to you that you did not say and you want that removed, I can do it.  However, it looks like you have explained it bette than an edit could.

It goes both ways.  If you don’t like being misquoted then please don’t do it either.
