Current Japanese Shinkan Sen trains take 4 hours and 9 minutes to go from Tokyo Station to Shin Hakodate station (862 kilometers {535 miles}) on the northern most island of Hokkaido Japan going under the sea between the main island of Honshu and the northern most island Hokkaido.

But this video will absolutely blow your mind... of course, it's a simulation... however the actual footage used is from a real 4 hour and 9 minute ride... however... and this is what makes it sooooo funny is that they've drastically sped the footage up to make it look like it hits a maximum speed of 7,657 kilometers/hr. faster than Mach 6.2 (4,757MPH)... and it's just... just... just... well I can't find the right words to describe it but the entire video is only 10 minutes... Yes... from start to end... 862 kilometers (535 miles) in 10 minutes!

Of course it's a simulation but that's what makes it so funny because it looks and sounds so real. But that's because the footage is that of a much slower train sped up to unbelievable speeds and the sounds recorded are the actual sounds, but the actual announcements of course are made in normal speed.

All I can say is buckle up and enjoy the 10 minute ride:
