Bad as it may seem... it's starting to look like a mob rules world.

There is no "you better do as they say"... it's more like "if you don't do as they say your life will be destroyed".

Sort of reminds me of the the collective minds of the Borg... resistance is futile!

Yes, they use different style platforms.  I used to know all the different style names.
