Current administration is off their rockers... not only do we still have Americans in Afghanistan... but now this!!!

Email Shows Biden Ordered Afghanistan Evacuation Flights Be Filled With Unvetted Refugees

During America's chaotic exit from Afghanistan earlier this year, the Biden administration issued a directive that evacuation flights be filled to "excess" with refugees who had not been properly vetted before arriving in America, according to an internal administration communication disclosed on Tuesday by Sen. Josh Hawley (R., Mo.).

"Total inflow to the U.S. must exceed the number of seats available. Err on the side of excess," reads an Aug. 16 email to U.S. officials involved in the exit from Afghanistan. "This guidance provides clear discretion and direction to fill seats and to provide special consideration for women and children when we have seats."

Hawley, who says he obtained the email through a U.S. official who was outraged by the Biden administration's failure to vet Afghan refugees flown into America, published the email Tuesday afternoon on Twitter. Hawley maintains that Afghan evacuees were not throughly screened with intensive interviews before they arrived in the United States.

"This email was shared [with] me by an American official present in Afghanistan during the evacuation who was shocked by administration's failure to vet Afghans before they were evacuated," Hawley wrote. "Email details orders from Joe Biden to fill up the planes—even without vetting."

The email, which has the subject line "presidential directive," provides some of the firmest proof to date that the Biden administration decided to forgo proper vetting procedures in its rush to evacuate scores of Afghans following the Taliban's takeover just weeks after the U.S. military retreated from the country.

Hawley pressed the issues on Tuesday during a Senate hearing with Colin Kahl, the Pentagon's undersecretary for defense policy and the administration official largely responsible for overseeing the Biden administration's botched evacuation.

They are both naive and inept.  You are aware we still have people stranded there but we aren’t allowed to discuss it.

I'm aware that we still have approximately 400 Americans still in Afghanistan, but I'm American and until our 1st Amendment right to Freedom of Speech is removed... we are allowed to discuss it!

People are talking about it. And there is a video in the link below too.

Pompeo: Biden has done 'almost nothing' to bring stranded Americans in Afghanistan home

'This is worse than just incompetence, this is an absence of caring about Americans,' Mike Pompeo said

Former CIA Director Mike Pompeo shared his thoughts on the Afghanistan withdrawal and the messaging from the Biden administration about those who are stranded in the embattled country on Monday's "Hannity."

MIKE POMPEO: This is tragic. I think [the Biden administration] clearly misled the American people, not only the president but the secretary of defense, as you talked about.

For the longest time, they talked about barely triple digits. We now know there are tens of thousands of people that have a right to return back to the United States of America. Our government has done almost nothing to bring them back. This is worse than just incompetence. This is an absence of caring about Americans and those who have a right to come to the United States of America. We've completely abandoned them. The president won't even talk about these things.

I was being facetious. The media is the “we” who are ignoring it,

Well, it seem that not only the media but many others in high places have been ignoring it too.

But just recently I found this. Specifically, click the [a memo] link shortly after the red portion below.

We pulled out early and left hundreds if not thousands behind. But only recently (Nov 4) has a memo been circulated gathering names of service and DoD immediate families who are still stuck in Afghanistan.

In November... how long ago did we pull out? Why did they not send this memo out right after we pulled out? Why does it take several months to gather this intel?

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon is stepping up efforts to get family members of U.S. troops out of Afghanistan, creating a database of the dozens who are trapped there.

On Thursday, more than two months after the U.S. military withdrew completely from Afghanistan, Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl issued a memo asking any U.S. military personnel and DOD civilians with immediate family members who need help leaving Afghanistan to email his office.

The memo, obtained by NBC News, instructs service members and Defense Department civilians to email a specific address with the subject “immediate family member.” In addition to names, the emails will need to include passport, contact and other personal information about the family members so they can be added to the database.

There are still several dozen immediate family members of U.S. service members in Afghanistan, according to defense officials. Those include children, sisters and brothers, and parents. There are well over 100 extended family members still in Afghanistan, but it’s not clear how many of them want to leave the country, the officials said.

This is ie nic the most tragic crimes in our government’s history. It’s very sad. So many will never get out, if they are even still alive.  Not to mention those tortured.  It could have been handled so much differently.

Could have been... BUT WASN'T... where is the accountability?

I've yet to see any!
