This is another one I love to sing at Karaoke bars... In the early 1980's you could hear just about every street performer singing this as one of their songs as it was popular in Japan.

Well occasionally she was off key. I can’t find anything written about it but it was a common joke among music types relatively recently.

I found an interesting article about vocal range. It needs its own discussion.
