There are a variety of factors contributing to the virus spread and several things help avoid contamination, but unless you are hiding in a basement somewhere the risk remains — mask or no mask.
The common cold, the flu, and now Covid will likely be with us for decades more and wearing masks is not a permanent solution to staying healthy.
Getting the less threatening Omicron and recovering to gain a natural immunity may be better than suffering from the other Covid variations.

That is true but they have scared people so much no one wants to get it at all. The study I posted shows that certain masks prevent the spread of omicron.

I think mask wearing is too often forced conformity.
I've recovered from the first wave of Covid, been vaccinated, boosted, been tested many times, and had the flu shot — I am not a threat to others and they aren't a threat to me.
Now Biden plans to ship (fee of charge at taxpayer expense) masks to anyone who wants them.

KN95’s are ok, but not the same level of protection as N95, they are low in supply, I found two boxes each of ten at Home Depot, so I grabbed them.
