Migrant Apprehensions at Border Continue to Drop Post-Title 42

The apprehension of migrants crossing the borders between ports of entry continues to decline following the end of Title 42 on May 11. During the past three days, agents apprehended approximately 2,900 per day. This is down from a daily apprehension in excess of 9,000 per day in the final days of Title 42.
 
Despite warnings from the Department of Homeland Security that migrant apprehensions could climb to as many as 18,000 per day following the end of Title 42, the number of actual apprehensions actually fell dramatically. U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz tweeted on Monday that agents apprehended only 8,750 during the previous three-day period.
 
On May 10, the apprehension of migrants who crossed between ports of entry peaked at more than 10,600, Breitbart Texas reported. By May 21, the number of apprehensions fell to 2,898 (down 73 percent), according to a law enforcement source.
 
For the past several days, the Del Rio Sector regained the number one position in terms of Migrant apprehensions, Breitbart reported on Sunday. That remained consistent with the migrants apprehended on Sunday as Del Rio agents apprehended 1,069 migrants. This represents nearly 38 percent of all migrant apprehensions on that May 21. Del Rio Sector agents apprehended 5,007 migrants during the past five days, the law enforcement source stated.
 
Over the weekend, Del Rio agents found two abandoned children in the custody of a group of migrants who had just crossed from Mexico into Texas. The migrants told the agents they found one young girl and a female infant abandoned on a road in Mexico and brought them across the Rio Grande to Texas.
 
In addition to the 8,750 migrants apprehended during the past three days, Chief Ortiz reported an additional 3,441 migrants were classified as got-aways. These are migrants who are estimated to have crossed the border and not been apprehended. These got-aways represent more than 28 percent of the 12,195 known border crossers.

Hispanic residents of border cities are protesting about the influx. It makes their lives more difficult as well as everyone else’s.

It's not only Hispanic residents, but everybody who is protesting... everybody except current administration and the illegals themselves.

What parent in their right mind would allow that obviously mentally ill man read to their children, much, much less buy their books.  Men that think they are woman, then dress up like a clown, are obviously mentally ill and should be treated as such, not glorified.

Anybody who votes to trash our country because they dislike Trump should be removed from office. 

As for what Biden has done:

Thus far he's doing a great job of destroying our country.

He's given $85 billion of our top military technology to the Taliban.

He's allowed millions of Fentanyl pills and illegals (including minors) into our country unchecked/unsupervised. 

He's allowed Chinese balloons to collect data over our sensitive military installations.

He's worsened America's image abroad. 

He continues to use the DOJ and FBI to hide his corrupt money laundering schemes from multiple foreign sources.

But I've yet to find one good thing he did for America!!!

$361,218.08 per day x 365 days = $131,844,599.20 per year.

$361,218.08 for 300,000 smartphones = $1.20 per phone per day.

And those figures are from when they quoted ICE on the numbers... not exactly sure when that was, but with tens of thousands coming over daily, that number increases exponentially.

So if 10,000 cross in one day, that would be 300,000 new smartphones per month times 12 months = 3,600,000 phones per year... and that's if the daily number is only 10,000... if it's 40,000 per day... then quadruple that number.

And with 3.6 million phones @ $1.20 per day, that works out to $4,334,616.96 per day or $1,582,135,190.40 per year.

And some of these illegals don't have a court date until 2035... 12 years from now!!!

As of today, Friday, the Title 42 border protection order has officially expired, and the United States is preparing for a record-breaking flood of illegal immigrants at the southern border.
 
On Thursday, independent journalist Tayler Hansen shared a video on Twitter showing illegal aliens using U.S. taxpayer-funded cell phones after they were given court dates.

In 2022, the Biden regime reportedly issued over 300,000 smartphones to illegal aliens as part of the “Alternatives to Detention Program (ATD).
 
According to ICE, smartphones cost taxpayers $361,218.08 per day, per ABC News.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) claimed the phones’ facial recognition, GPS tracking, and voice-identifying features are used to keep track of new illegal immigrants while they wait for their court dates.
 
According to Hansen, some of the illegal immigrants’ court dates reportedly won’t be until 2027.
 
New York Post reported that some illegal immigrants were given court dates set as late as 2032 and 2035 in Chicago and Florida.
 
Some illegal immigrants, according to freelance photojournalist Rebecca Brannon, have been handed bus tickets to the state where they have a sponsor or family member currently living.
 
The Gateway Pundit reported Thursday that a federal judge blocked the Biden regime from releasing migrants without setting court dates.
 
This comes after the Biden regime sent out a lawless memo allowing illegal invaders to run wild inside the country on parole.
 
Blocking the releases, according to the Biden regime, would result in “catastrophic” numbers for CBP, with 45,000 migrants in custody by the end of the month.
