That was actually updated. The teacher opened the door and went outside to smoke. The door was propped open with a rock. When she heard the gunman she ran inside and slammed the door shut but it failed to lock.  That was not her fault although she probably should have double checked it.  However, if it’s the kind of door with a bar on the inside rather than a handle, there is no way to know if it locked without checking from the outside.

I think this discussion has everything to do with resources and where we derive our opinions.

In that particular post,  I was using your reference to facts as the basis for my response "I think the so called "facts" are self-evident."  Are you suggesting that we have different sets of "self-evident" facts?
