Vogue Includes Transgender Cyclist on List of ‘Powerhouse Women’ of 2023

By Cassandra MacDonald
Aug. 28, 2023 1:15 pm

Vogue, the most well-known fashion magazine in the world, included a biological male cyclist on their list of 2023’s “Powerhouse Women.”

The list was published last week under the headline, “The Vogue 25: Discover The Powerhouse Women Who Made This Year’s Line-Up.”

“Professional cyclist Emily Bridges never wanted to be a campaigner. Before May this year, she only had one goal: competing for Great Britain at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Then the British Cycling Federation banned transgender athletes from the sport,” Vogue asserted. “Now, the Welsh 22-year-old is fighting for inclusion for herself and other transgender sportspeople.”

“It’s very scary at the moment, but I genuinely believe that we will win,” Bridges told Vogue, adding that he has received “death threats.”

The Vogue blurb added, “Behind the scenes, she’s donating muscle samples to Loughborough University research to see, once and for all, if transgender athletes do have the ‘unfair advantage’ some claim. What’s next? ‘To fight the decision legally, in the courts.'”

Vogue and its magazine for younger readers, Teen Vogue, have been at the forefront of pushing gender ideology.

In November, Teen Vogue published an article promoting mutilating minors in the name of “gender affirmation.”

Teen Vogue is a website and magazine targeted at children as young as 12.

The article from Kaiyti Duffy, MD, MPH, Chief Medical Officer of the Los Angeles LGBT Center, begins by shaming the New York Times for daring to publish an article that questioned if there are long-term side effects to puberty blockers.

“In the midst of Transgender Awareness Week, and just before a gunman killed five in a shooting at a popular LGBTQ bar in Colorado, The New York Times published an unfortunate piece about gender-affirming care,” the doctor’s article began. “The headline posed a question: ‘They Paused Puberty, But Is There A Cost?’ Immediately, transgender people, queer activists, and LGBTQ-affirming medical providers like myself braced for the inevitable: Another piece questioning trans health and the community’s seemingly endless pursuit for equitable medical care.”

Duffy acknowledged that the pills could lead to low bone density but claimed that it is considered “safe” anyway because there is a possibility that a person claiming to be trans might commit suicide without them.

“At this moment, at least 20 states are considering bans regarding the provision of medically necessary, life-saving gender-affirming care for trans youth,” the doctor wrote. “These legislative assaults are not being waged out of concern for trans and gender diverse youth and their families. This is not about the bone health of these young people. These efforts are rooted in transphobia and anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments and I’m saddened that the New York Times failed to call this out. If the assault against gender-affirming care persists, we may soon be unable to pause puberty. Without question, this would come at a steep cost to young trans and gender diverse people. Their lives are literally on the line. Where is the New York Times story about that?”

Woke breastfeeding organization eliminates the word ‘mother’ from its mission statement

Even on the La Leche League International website, which (unlike the USA version) does still refer to mothers and mothering, one of the principles now references 'human milk' as the 'natural food for babies, uniquely meeting their changing needs.'

(Frontline News) — La Leche League was established in 1956 as a support group for mothers who chose to breastfeed their babies in a world where it was often not supported, and even actively discouraged.

Today, the La Leche League U.S. website does not even mention the word “mother” in their mission statement, or just about anywhere on their website.

Their signal publication is The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding, which has been updated and reprinted seven times since its original publication in 1958. This book is still advertised on the LLL international site, but it has disappeared from the USA site, except for a few mentions in articles.

In 2014, the LLL USA internet site proclaimed that LLL

believes that mothering through breastfeeding deepens a mother’s understanding and acceptance of the responsibilities and rewards of her special role in the family. As a woman grows in mothering she grows as a human being, and every other role she may fill in her lifetime is enriched by the insights and humanity she brings to it from her experiences as a mother.

Today, LLL USA

helps parents, families, and communities to breastfeed, chestfeed, and human milk feed their babies through parent-to-parent support. LLL USA encourages, informs, educates, supports, and promotes the use of human milk and the intimate relationship and development that comes from nursing a child for as long as mutually desired.

READ: Breastfeeding organization welcomes transgender ‘nursing men’

In a world where most “feminists” chose to climb the corporate ladder, the feminists of La Leche League – and many of them did consider themselves feminists – sought to empower women through one of the most significant feminine acts, nurturing their babies and families. They did this by providing breastfeeding support and advice to any woman who wanted it, free of charge, but they also sought to represent an overarching ideal for parenting.

This included many things: natural childbirth, breastfeeding on demand, child-led weaning, good nutrition for the whole family, staying at home with your young children, and principles that have come to be called attachment parenting. They did not demand this of the mothers who sought their help, and these ideals were not cut in stone and inflexible, but those who aspired to be La Leche League Leaders had to agree on some level to 10 basic principles that formed the core of the organization’s ideals.

Even on the LLL International website, which – unlike the USA site – does still refer to mothers and mothering, there is an interesting change to one of those principles. While in the 1989 edition of the Leader’s Handbook, one of the guiding principles of LLL was that “[b]reastmilk is the superior infant food.” (p.3), the LLL international site today substitutes the following: “Human milk is the natural food for babies, uniquely meeting their changing needs.” [Emphasis added.]

This is significant, and even misinforming. Human milk, as a substance, does not uniquely meet a baby’s changing needs. Breast milk does.

For years, practically from its inception, LLL has fought against the widespread pressure on mothers to use breast milk substitutes (“formula”), for various reasons. One is that it is not the same as the real thing, a reality that has been revealed on many occasions when babies sickened or died because of some essential component that was later found to be missing in a “formula.” Breast milk substitutes are a godsend when they are necessary, a great improvement on what was otherwise available to babies who didn’t have mothers or had one of the few mothers who couldn’t produce an adequate supply of milk. Like all medications, however, one must weigh the benefits against the risks.

A welcome entry into the arena of feeding babies who cannot feed from their mothers are breast milk banks. Again, a godsend for the preemies for whom the bank was originally established. A baby can receive donated breast milk; or, shall we say, “human milk” – because there are differences.

INDOCTRINATION: University of Arizona is Teaching Future Nurses to Start Asking Patients About Gender Identity as Young as Three Years Old

By Jim H?ft
Sep. 7, 2023 8:00 pm

If you ever wondered just how far academic institutions are willing to push the boundaries for ideological indoctrination, prepare yourself for this jaw-dropping revelation. According to Chaya Raichik, the person behind the LibsofTikTok account, the University of Arizona nursing school is teaching its future nurses to start questioning pediatric patients as young as three years old about their gender identity.

The verbiage suggested by a PowerPoint slide that Raichik managed to obtain reads as follows:

Asking pediatric patients about gender identity

“Some kids feel like a girl on the inside, some kids feel like a boy on the inside, and some kids feel like neither, both, or someone else. What about you? How do you feel on the inside? There’s no right or wrong answer.”

Unbelievably, the PowerPoint goes on to say:

When to ask

Start around age 3, during the well visit.”

SCOOP: University of Arizona nursing school is teaching future nurses that 3-year-olds can know they are transgender. They’re also being taught to start questioning patients as young as 3 about their gender.

Three years old. Let that sink in. At an age when children are learning their colors, shapes, and how to string sentences together, these medical students are reportedly being instructed to delve into complex discussions about gender identity.

This jaw-dropping development has elicited reactions from public figures like Kari Lake and Lauren Boebert. Lake pointed out, “University of Arizona is teaching the next generation of nurses to brainwash children as young as 3-years old into thinking they can choose their own gender. When my children were 3, they still believed in the boogeyman. We can’t trust our kids with medical professionals who want to groom them.”

Lauren Boebert weighed in, saying, “I’m so over this crap. Full stop.” Elon Musk responded also with an exclamation point, “!”

The Gateway Pundit has reached out to the University of Arizona for comment, but as of the writing of this article, there has been no response.

There is a line between education and indoctrination, and according to these reports, the University of Arizona is dangerously crossing it. To potentially push a narrative on children who are barely out of diapers is nothing short of astonishing. It is a disturbing indication of how far some institutions will go to normalize agendas that most of us find inconceivable.

Neither Disney nor Hollywood seem to understand...

Nolte: Disney’s ‘The Marvels’ Bombed All over Planet Earth

JOHN NOLTE
12 Nov 2023

The Disney Grooming Syndicate’s latest bomb, The Marvels, has officially flopped all over planet Earth.

Worldwide, which includes its record-low domestic take here in North America, The Marvels opened globally to a disastrous $110 million to $115 million.

That is the lowest global open in the 15-year history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that would be considered a disaster for any movie with a reported production and promotion cost of $200 million, much less the $300+ million this sucker likely cost.

Gee, do Trump-voting, mouth-breathing sexists and racists have so much influence that they were able to stop The Entire Planet from going to see The Marvels? That’s just my way of asking: Who will Disney and its sycophants in the entertainment media blame this breathtaking, historic box office bomb on? Because remember…

The media will never blame the quality of the movie or the divisive politics employed by the studios and filmmakers that alienate, insult, and crap all over the very fans that made these franchises golden geese to begin with (see also: Wars, Star; Jones, Indiana; Prey, Birds of; Woman, Wonder; Angels, Charlie; Black, Men in; Jam, Space; Busters, Ghost; Nator, Termi; and ar, Pix — because these people are rons, mo).

Telling the truth about the movie’s (lack of) quality would cost the entertainment media advertisers. To blame the divisive politics would not only lose advertisers but be an admission that the entertainment media’s own sacred political and social beliefs are box office poison.

Sadly for them, all they can do is hide the truth. But the truth is still the truth, and the truth is that people are not interested in movies that violate human nature by way of some stupid DEI agenda.

Normal people care about character, not skin color. We care about stories, not political agendas. We care about universal themes, not scolding and virtue signaling.

Above all, we want to be transported away for a couple of hours to forget our troubles with characters we can relate to, especially beautiful and appealing characters who offer some wish fulfillment through romance and sex appeal — both of which have been declared verboten by the left’s New Puritanism.

Ms. Marvel was ballyhooed as the “first Muslim superhero.”

Okay.

So..

Where are all the Muslims?

There are billions of Muslims around the world, tens if not hundreds of millions in the Western world where The Marvels is playing. Where are they?

Unfortunately for the Disney Grooming Syndicate, most Muslims are normal people who have no interest in this DEI crap.

Same with Hispanics, who had zero interest in Blue Beetle  — The First Hispanic Superhero! That sucker made $124 million globally — globally!

Over the past five years, this has been Hollywood’s insane marketing plan: We will openly insult and alienate the fans who made these franchises a success to appeal to all those different groups who don’t see our movies.

So, instead of expanding the tent, these DEI Cultists kicked out all the normal people and are now dumbfounded because people who never liked these franchises aren’t finally showing up in droves to cheer all the sterile, charmless preaching, gay sex, and girlbossing.

And Hollywood did this because Hollywood hates, and I mean HATES, the very people who made these franchises world-beaters. Putting Kathleen Kennedy in charge of Star Wars and Indiana Jones makes about as much sense as putting me in charge of the National Teachers Union because all my energy would go towards destroying it. Same with PBS and Applebee’s.

Movies aren’t doing well anyways due to a lot of factors. A bad movie is gong  to flop.  The climate and times are against movies anyway. It’s ironic the best movie of the year was Barbie.

It could also be because they keep raising prices.  The parks are too expensive for most people.  Who can afford $1000 to take a family to a theme park for one day?

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Transgender 'Extravaganza' Sparks Boycott

Nov 13, 2023 at 7:24 PM EST

An online petition is calling for a boycott of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade due to its planned inclusion of LGBTQ+ performers.

The petition was started by One Million Moms, a division of the "pro-traditional values" organization American Family Association (AFA). More than 24,000 people have signed the appeal as of press time.

The annual Macy's parade in New York City has been one of the holiday's most famous events since it first took place in 1924. Swarms of people descend onto Manhattan for the festivities, which include floats, marching bands and live performances from popular musicians.

One Million Moms is taking exception to the entertainment scheduled for next week's event.

"The non-binary and transgender extravaganza on display this Thanksgiving will be brought to you by Macy's during their annually sponsored Thanksgiving Day Parade," the petition from One Million Moms reads. "Unless they are forewarned about it, this year's holiday parade will potentially expose tens of millions of viewers at home to the liberal LGBTQ agenda."

Newsweek reached out to Macy's parade organizers via email for comment Monday.

A float is seen at Macy's parade

The Tom Turkey float is pictured during the 96th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, on November 24, 2022, in New York City. A conservative group started a petition against the Macy's parade for its inclusion of transgender performers.

Monica Cole, director of One Million Moms, responded to a request for comment with a statement.

"Our One Million Moms 'Say No to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade' petition has over 24,000+ signatures already and is quickly picking up momentum. Conservatives have signed urging Macy's to no longer push the LGBTQ agenda in the name of entertainment," Cole told Newsweek in the statement. "By including non-binary performers, potentially exposing millions of viewers to this liberal nonsense, Macy's is leaving conservative families with no other choice than to not watch this parade and no longer patronize their stores either."

She continued: "This holiday tradition is no longer family-friendly and pushing the gay agenda during primetime is completely unnecessary. Our 1MM pledge is picking up traction as conservative and mainstream media and even individual social media coverage increases to warn parents of the indoctrination that will occur during this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. The petition warning will only gain speed as Thanksgiving Day approaches."

One Million Moms lists some of the performers it finds objectionable in its petition. This includes Justin David Sullivan, who identifies as transgender non-binary and will be featured in a performance from the Broadway musical & Juliet.

The petition noted Sullivan declined eligibility for the 2023 Tony Awards because he objected to the event's awards being categorized by gender.

One Million Moms also took exception with Alex Newell, a gender-nonconforming performer who was featured in the Broadway musical Shucked. However, it is unclear whether Newell is scheduled to perform at this year's Macy's parade.

The group's petition included another major transgender celebrity who has appeared in the parade. In 2021, singer Kim Petras became the first transgender star to perform in the Macy's parade, a moment that One Million Moms described as a symbolic end to "this once family-friendly holiday tradition."

"Shame on Macy's for promoting and sponsoring this type of entertainment. We still cannot trust Macy's Dept. Store," the petition said in conclusion. "It is clear that Macy's does not have our children's best interests in mind. Macy's needs to know that trust must be earned, and once trust is lost, it is difficult to get back."

The Advocate noted One Million Moms has previously boycotted the toy line American Girl for selling a doll with "lesbian aunts," as well as objected to the animated feature Toy Story 4 over a scene they said insinuated a child was being raised by two mothers.
