'Brotherboy' and 'sistergirl': Oxford Dictionary adds 18 new LGBT words in 2022
Terms include 'teahouse,' pangender,' 'multisexual' and 'TERF'

The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) added 18 new LGBTQ+ entries in 2022, including words like gender-affirming, multisexual, top and bottom.
The OED added nearly 2,000 words in the past year, according to announcements from March, June and September, with 18 of those words updated or added to specifically define ever-evolving LGBTQ+ terms. In March, OED added anti-gay and anti-homosexual, with the former receiving a specific definition while anti-homosexual was listed only as a subcategory.
“Opposed or hostile to homosexual people (sometimes specifically gay men) or homosexuality,” OED’s anti-gay definition states.
OED also added several words specific to other countries for the LGBTQ+ community, according to LGBTQ Nation. Bakla, the Philippine term for a biological male who identifies as a female, was added in June along with Muxe, pronounced moo-shay, which is from Mexican culture for a biological man who identifies as female, and Australian terms brotherboy and sistergirl.
“A brotherboy is a person registered as female at birth who identifies with or presents a masculine gender expression, typically through behaviours, occupations, modes of dress, etc., that are culturally associated with masculinity’ and a sistergirl was assigned male at birth and presents in ways associated with femininity,” the definition states.
Teahouse was included as a U.S. slang term to refer to a public toilet in which gay men “solicit” or “engage” in sexual behavior with one another. Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist or TERF, created in 2008, was given an additional note stating that the term is considered derogatory to the LGBTQ community.
The dictionary added pangender to define a person who identifies as multiple genders and changes between them in a fluid manner. The term is not to be confused with the 2018 definition of pansexual, which is the emotional and physical attraction to individuals regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
Top and bottom have been in the OED for years, but were recently updated to include new sub-definitions.
“The 12a intransitive verb sense of bottom in the OED is now ‘to take the role of the more submissive partner in bondage, domination, or sadomasochism’ and 12b is ‘originally and chiefly among gay men: to be the partner who is penetrated in (esp. anal) sex,'” LGBTQ Nation explains. “For top, multiple new definitions were also added, including ‘to take a dominant role over (one’s partner) in bondage, domination, or sadomasochism’ and ‘to be the partner who penetrates the other in sex between men (often with the implication of being the more dominant or active partner).'”
The word gender was given several new sub-definitions including gender-affirming and gender critical, while gender expression and gender presentation were also added under the same definition. Multisexual describes a person that is attracted to multiple individuals with different “gender identities” or sexes, according to LGBTQ Nation.
The Oxford Dictionary did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

Who decides what words are the right ones to use? USC banned the use of the word “field” because of associations with slavery and going out to the field. They replaced it with the word Practicum, which means nothing to most people. I was taking to some college students and one studies archaeology. Fieldwork means going on a dig. There is no other word to explain what they are doing. It’s becoming too bizarre, not to mention how are we supposed to remember or know the correct words when they change constantly? People are not going to remember or even know.

The more they attempt to change things for the better, they end up breaking something else which then needs to be changed again to break yet something else again! (* CHUCKLE *)
And it's all because a minority of people feel offended by the use of a certain word.
Just remind them all... I'm offended by all these changes so put everything back like it was and let those who feel offended continue to feel offended, otherwise I and the majority will be offended!!!

General Motors Funds Effort to Embed Pro-Transgender Books in Classrooms

General Motors (GM) donated to an LGBT organization that supplies kindergarten and elementary classrooms with pro-transgender children’s books.
General Motors provided a grant to the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) to fund the organization’s “Rainbow Library” Program, according to the corporation’s 2021 Social Impact Report.
The report explains that the Rainbow Library “provides supportive curriculum materials and book sets that are LGBTQ+ centered, racially diverse, and multicultural to K-12 schools.” The report did not say how much money was awarded to the pro-transgender organization.
“This innovative program also provides ongoing support and professional guidance for educators to create inclusive, supportive, and identity-safe classrooms nationwide,” GM’s report notes.
GLSEN also provides lesson plans, as well as “educator guides” and professional development trainings.
Pictures from GLSEN’s Rainbow Library page showcase the type of books that the organization is sending to K-12 schools to be read to young children. One book, called “I am Jazz,” is about a child who allegedly identified as transgender from the age of two.
“From the time she was two years old, Jazz knew that she had a girl’s brain in a boy’s body,” the book’s description reads.
While GLSEN does not give a complete list of the book titles that are given out through their program, an article from the School Library Journal explains that books are in part “selected based on winning and nominated books for the Stonewall Award and the Rainbow Book List of the American Library Association.”
One title, which is a Stonewall Honor Book and also included on the Rainbow Book List, is the pornographic “Gender Queer” by Maia Kabobe. The book is extremely graphic and contains depictions of oral sex, masturbation, and the use of sex toys, as well as discussions of sexual fantasies and “confusing sexual experiments.”

Another book, also on the Stonewall Book Awards List, is “Sex is a Funny Word” by Corey Silverberg. A shocking investigation found that Silverberg, who has written several LGBT books aimed at children, is the co-founder of what has been referred to as a “beginner’s sex shop.” The sex shop even sells the book.
Silverberg’s book includes discussions of “transgender identity, intersex conditions, and masturbation.”
GLSEN has described their Rainbow Library program as a “first step for getting in front of kids” and a “stepping stone for inclusive curriculum at the district or state level.”
One report from Discover the Networks found that the organization engages in lobbying and political activism, and has offered “sexually explicit materials and information to young school children” at its conferences.
In addition to pushing pro-transgender books on kids, GLSEN also advocates for men to be able to play in women’s sports and use women’s restrooms. The organization created a “Trans Action Kit,” which instructs students and teachers to engage in pro-transgender activism. One of the suggestions is to “build an altar” to transgender people for the faux holiday “transgender day of remembrance.”
Breitbart News revealed in July that Americorps offered a stipend for a “22-23 GLSEN Student & Educator Outreach” position. The description of the role, archived here, explained that “The member will drive engagement with educators, school districts and gay-straight alliance/gender-sexuality alliance (GSA) clubs across the state,” while also conducting trainings.
This is not the first time that GM has provided financial support to GLSEN. The Post Millennial reported that Chevrolet, which is owned by General Motors, donated $25,000 to the pro-transgender organization.

Mars unveiled a woke limited-edition all-female M&M’s bag featuring lesbians and ‘fat positive’ candies to honor women.
The upside packaging celebrated women who are “flipping the status quo.”
The green and brown candies represent a lesbian couple.
The purple cartoon candy promotes ‘body positivity.’

M&M’s creator Mars will release “all-female” M&M’s candy packages for a limited time to honor women who are “flipping the status quo.”
The company announced the feminist-forward candy wrappers Thursday, saying it will exclusively display M&M’s female characters: the green, brown and most recently introduced purple M&M.
In addition to featuring the three female M&M’s on the wrappers, each package in this limited run will only include the corresponding green, brown and purple candy-coated chocolates.
The packages will feature the female M&M’s flipped upside-down to represent how women “are flipping how they define success,” according to PR Newswire.
The series will come in milk chocolate, peanut and peanut butter varieties.
This move is the latest in a series of marketing moves M&M’s has made to promote inclusivity. Its previous announcement involved the introduction of the purple female M&M who represents body positivity and self-acceptance.
Last year M&M’s added a new “spokescandy” to their cartoon character lineup, designed to “represent acceptance and inclusivity.”
“Designed to represent acceptance and inclusivity, our newest member is known for her earnest self-expression,” the brand said in a statement. “Keen self-awareness, authenticity and confidence are the driving forces behind Purple’s charm and quirky nature. She joins the legendary cast of M&M’S characters, who recently were given a refresh with updated looks and more nuanced personalities back in January.”

What used to be arguably America’s most famous candy became infamous over the course of the last few years as it descended into woke culture as many corporations did, and just like these other corporations, it paid the price.
As previously covered by RedState, M&M’s marketing team decided to take the beloved characters and begin changing up how they act and behave. While Red and Yellow were left alone, Green was defeminized so that she wasn’t so obviously a woman, which was offensive to the hard left for some reason. Moreover, they began adding other colors for the various flavors coming out, but they were attached to social messaging in the “modern audiences” vein.
Oh, and Green and Brown are a lesbian couple now.

To be sure, the backlash was nothing short of immediate. People began vowing to distance themselves from, not just M&Ms, but the Mars candy company in general.
It would appear the pressure and backlash were too much. On Monday, the candy company released a statement on Twitter declaring that they didn’t think many people would notice the changes to its “spokescandies” but that “even a candy’s shoes can be polarizing.”
“Therefore, we have decided to take an indefinite pause from the spokescandies,” the statement continued.
The candy company declared that its new spokesperson is actress Maya Rudolph as she’s viewed as someone with whom few people disagree according to M&Ms.

If M&Ms was trying to make the situation better, then it completely missed the mark. For one, the tone of the statement is condescending. Trying to make it seem like America is being immature over some shoes completely misses the mark and tries to paint its own customers as too willing to be offended over nothing.
The legitimate anger from America came with the modernizing of characters to appeal to a group of people who continuously antagonize everyone else with their attempts to be social dictators. It began warping and eliminating the femininity of certain characters, which is a problem we see all around our society to the point where women have been pushed out of their own spaces.
Moreover, these new characters and changes to the old ones were clearly done for political purposes and all of them catered to leftist sentiments. Of course, that wasn’t going to sit well with half of America, and it’s odd that M&Ms seems surprised to the point of offense that it did.
Like everything else that woke culture touches, the candies had to obey certain rules and these rules sapped all the personality out of them. Then it proceeded to sexualize them by making two of them gay.
It’s absolutely annoying that nearly everything has to be this politicized nowadays, and people are getting sick and tired of always having it shoved in their faces. Moreover, it’s a story that’s been repeated dozens of times from company to company. M&Ms is apparently one company that didn’t learn the lesson.
Maya Rudolph isn’t going to win those people back. They missed the point of the anger, and if that’s the case, then they’ll definitely make this mistake again.
