World Economic Forum Spreads Climate Misinformation and Refuses Open Scientific Debate with CLINTEL

In August, the World Economic Forum (“WEF”) published an op-ed pushing for Artificial Intelligence to manage online harms and disinformation, which sparked social media furore. In fact, the WEF is a purveyor of climate change misinformation itself and should engage in open scientific debate with CLINTEL on the fact that there is no climate emergency, Friends of Science stated in a press release.
Friends of Science Society is an independent group of earth, atmospheric and solar scientists, engineers, and citizens based in Canada. It is celebrating its 20th year of offering climate science insights. After a thorough review of a broad spectrum of literature on climate change, Friends of Science Society has concluded that the sun is the main driver of climate change, not carbon dioxide (CO2).
Climate Intelligence (“CLINTEL”) is an independent foundation that operates in the fields of climate change and climate policy.

“Over 1,100 scientists and scholars agree that there is no climate emergency, natural factors are most influential and we do have time to adapt. See World Climate Declaration” – CLINTEL
Media and social media commentators swiftly pounced on an opinion piece by Inbal Goldberger posted by WEF on 10 August 2022, which proposed using Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) to censor harmful online misinformation, but Friends of Science Society said that’s not the most important issue. Friends of Science Society is calling on the WEF to engage in open, civil debate on their climate misinformation the old-fashioned way – in person with CLINTEL.
WEF regularly engages in climate misinformation, said Friends of Science, noting that WEF gave Greta Thunberg a public stage and much media coverage (posted on 25 January 2019 and again on 1 January 2020) over her “I want you to panic … Our house is on fire” commentaries.
Greta’s comments terrified millions of children and adults worldwide, but in testimony to the US Congress on 21 April 2021, Greta stated that there is “no science” behind her comment; it was just a metaphor. At no point has WEF or any of its bevy of Big Tech and media-mogul trustees stepped up to apologise for foisting fear on citizens of the world.
WEF claims to be “committed to improving the state of the world.” It is difficult to see how scaring millions of people accomplishes that goal, said Friends of Science.
On 20 January 2020, CLINTEL, the climate intelligence think tank based in The Netherlands, sent a letter to Borge Brende, President of the WEF, calling for engagement on the issue of the claimed “climate emergency,” writing:
“Despite heated political rhetoric, we urge all world leaders to accept the reality that there is no climate emergency. There is ample time to use scientific advances to continue improving our society. Meanwhile, we should go for adaptation; it works whatever the causes [of climate change] are.”
“We also invite you to organise with us a constructive, open meeting between world-class scientists on both sides of the climate debate. Such an event complies with the sound and ancient principle that all pertinent parties should be fully heard: Audiatur et altera pars.”
Friends of Science said that as of 17 August 2022, more than two and half years later, CLINTEL reports there has been no response.
Friends of Science and CLINTEL issued a joint video statement: “Declaration to WEF – Good News for Greta” in January 2020, explaining that the fear of climate emergency came from the misuse of a scenario known as RCP 8.5.
CLINTEL has a prestigious list of climate scientists, scholars, and climate commentators of more than 1,123 signatories to the World Climate Declaration. In short, the Declaration states there is no climate emergency, that natural factors are more influential than human emissions on climate, and we do have time to adapt to climatic changes, which may be warmer or cooler.

What has all that investment in renewables actually bought us?

For decades now we have been inundated with propaganda that insists we move away from fossil fuels to renewable alternatives.
The hysteria has been escalating ever since Al Gore rebranded himself the Global Warming Ambassador at Large with the release of An Inconvenient Truth. What had been a constant but relatively muted refrain from the Left became a unstoppable roar that has only increased in volume. We have been treated to lectures about biofuels from switchgrass (remember that–never happened), the new hydrogen future (never happened), solar, wind, and unicorn farts all powering the future.
We are called to save the sinking islands (they are fine), save the polar bears (they are plentiful), and stop the hurricanes from killing us all (deaths from weather events have been declining for decades). We are warned of the apocalypse, inconvenienced and enraged by activists who pour out milk, throw soup at art, glue themselves to every available surface, and scream constantly about “science” as if having tantrums is how science is done.
We have even been forced to listen to a socially awkward and incredibly irritating teenager berate us while dispensing wisdom about our energy future. Our media industry, which used to entertain and inform us, now spends vast amounts of time irritating and insulting us while demanding our dollars and taking away our autonomy.
In one sense this has worked. Trillions of dollars have been poured into investments in “renewable energy.” Vast fortunes have been made by grifters willing to pocket the money being thrown at them for building useless junk. Power has accumulated into few hands.
In another sense this has been a giant waste of time and energy: despite constraining our access to energy from fossil fuels, the energy mix has not changed even a little bit over the decades. Statistically speaking there has been no change over the decades in the amount of energy being consumed that was generated by fossil fuels.
None.
How can $3.8 trillion buy you nothing? Well, it hasn’t bought exactly nothing. It has bought you a bunch of useless crap while also doing exactly what it is intended to do: transfer great amounts of wealth to the friends and families of powerful people and transfer huge amounts of power into the hands of politicians and bureaucrats who are gaining control over every aspect of our lives.
The war on fossil fuels is only nominally about green energy. By that I don’t mean that the average activist doesn’t believe in the coming apocalypse. They do. Decades of propaganda has convinced a lot of people that the only way to save Gaia and all life on earth is to tear down our economy, live like ants, eat crickets for lunch, and glue oneself to walls. Nobody has tantrums like that without believing in their cause. Who else would willingly humiliate themselves and others like this?
But the powerful people blowing these big bucks? They don’t believe a word of it. While children deface great art and economists complain that they literally haven’t been given a pot to piss in as they remain glued to the floor, the powers-that-be are flying in private planes, traveling in trains of SUVs, and living the high life as they become millionaires and billionaires. They buy luxury homes with the carbon footprint of a small third world country with a room dedicated exclusively to counting the cash they are raking in. Harrison Ford, a rabid climate change propagandist, literally hops in his plane to fly to his favorite burger joint. At least he used to before become a menace in the pilot’s seat.
President Obama, who warned about rising sea levels wiping out our coastlines, bought an oceanside estate after leaving the White House. Pretty much everybody in the political elite lives in an area that will be flooded by sea level rise and battered by worsening hurricanes if the climate change predictions proved to be true. Yet they live in zillion dollar estates in the danger area payed for by money they collect while warning of impending doom.
It is a scam. A fraud. A confidence game. Watch what they do, not what they say. The nation’s capitol is right on the ocean and every single one of these people is desperate to rule from there.
Ironically there is actually good climate research out there, and genuine and reasonable scientists believe we have something to be concerned about. I follow the actual scientific research closely to search out the signals from the noise. ‘Global Warming’ Data Exaggerated 50% Over Last 50 Years, New Evidence Shows

The official data used for “global warming” fearmongering has been exaggerated by up to 50 percent over the last 50 years, bombshell new evidence has revealed.
The new groundbreaking research, compiled by two atmospheric scientists at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Dr. Roy Spencer and Professor John Christy, shows 50% less warming over 50 years across the eastern United States than official data claims.
The new evidence deals a major blow to the widespread use of regularly adjusted global and local surface temperature datasets showing increasingly implausible rates of warming.
The research attempts to remove distortions caused by increasing urban heat and uses human-made structure density data over 50 years supplied by the Landsat satellites.
It compares the official National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) homogenized surface temperature dataset and exposes a 50% reduction in the warming trend.
Dr. Spencer and Professor Christy used a dataset of urbanization changes called “Built-Up” to determine the average effect that urbanization has had on surface temperatures.
Urbanization differences were compared to temperature differences from closely spaced weather stations.
The temperature plotted was in the morning during the summertime.

Dr. Spencer argues that the “Built-Up” dataset, which extends back to the 1970s, will be useful in “de-urbanizing” land-based surface temperature measurements in the U.S. as well as other countries.
All the major global datasets use temperature measurements from the Integrated Surface Database (ISD).
All have undertaken retrospective upward adjustments in the recent past.
In the U.K., the Met Office removed a “pause” in global temperatures from 1998 to around 2010 by two significant adjustments to its HadCRUT database over the last 10 years.
The adjustments added about 30% warming to the recent record. Removing the recent adjustments would bring the surface datasets more in line with the accurate measurements made by satellites and meteorological balloons.
Of course, if the objective is to promote a command-and-control Net Zero project, using widespread fear of rising temperatures to mandate huge societal and economic changes, a little extra warming would appear useful.
But warming on a global scale started to run out of steam over 20 years ago, and the stunt can only be pulled for so long before the disconnect with reality becomes too obvious.
There is a danger that the integrity of the surface measurements will be put on the line.
Earlier this year, two top atmospheric scientists exposed a significant manipulation of “climate science” data.
Emeritus Professors William Happer and Richard Lindzen told a U.S. Government inquiry that “climate science is awash with manipulated data, which provides no reliable scientific evidence.”
This is not the first time that the NOAA U.S. surface database has been under fire.
In a recently published critical report, U.S. meteorologist Anthony Watts called the database “fatally flawed.”
Watts found that 96% of U.S. temperature stations failed to meet what NOAA itself considered to be acceptable and uncorrupted placement standards.
He defined “corruption” as being caused by the localized effects of urbanization.
His report also drew attention to a rarely-publicized NOAA database compiled from 114 nationwide stations designed to provide continuous recordings away from urban heat distortions.
The measurements started in 2005 and to date show little warming, if any at all.

The Chief Climate Loonies (all 20,000 of them if COP26 is anything to go by) are meeting in a lovely holiday resort town in Egypt for COP27. My guess is that around 19,900 of them will have got there by aeroplane. I wonder how much electricity they will use for their laptops, iPads and magic telephones. (They never meet in Wolverhampton or Milton Keynes, do they? Maybe next time.)

It is the global warming hoax which is going to destroy us. It’s the mad green, fake environmentalists, sanctimonious and self-important, who are going to kill us by forcing us to cold turkey off fossil fuels and live in a cold, cruel world where the poorest will starve or freeze to death and where the chosen few, the self-appointed elite, will ignore reality, worship electricity (made from the diminishing fossil fuels) and create a pseudoscientific crisis out of thin air in order to oppress, suppress and banish humanity, decency, dignity and respect from our lives.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) predicts that a global warming of 2.5 degrees centigrade to 4.0 degrees centigrade would reduce global GDP by 2% to 5% by the year 2100 but that the global economy will, by 2100, be between 300% and 500% larger than it is at the moment. This destroys the argument that climate change will have a noticeable impact on the global economy.
The International Energy Agency has stated that by the year 2040 our planet will still obtain only around 5% of its energy needs from renewable sources (including burning trees or `biomass’). If the mad greens have their way and stop us from using fossil fuels there is just one certainty: billions will die of cold and starvation.
Of course, the majority of the preening, self-satisfied, ignorant global warming cultists actually believe that the world is coming to an end. These middle-class cultists are too stupid to realise that they are working for conspirators determined to take away our freedom and our humanity and to control us with social credit and digital money. The latest dire nonsense is that everything in central London will be under water before we’ve had time to pick up our wellington boots, head for the nearest mountain and pitch camp where we can choose between freezing to death and starving to death. The mad cultists have been told that the planet won’t survive and that billions will die as the waters rise inexorably towards the heavens. There is, of course, no evidence for any of this. They started off by calling the plot `global warming’ but had to change the name of the scam when it became clear that the planet seemed to be getting cooler more often than it got warmer and they realised that calling it climate change would give them more scope to include more varieties of natural disaster in their propaganda. And the whole scam was created decades ago to prepare for the Great Reset.
A group of British psychologists have reported that children are suffering from anxiety caused by the frightening predictions made by those predicting that climate change will affect our future. All this stress has to be added to the massive anxiety caused by the covid-19 fraud.
Global warming nutters have forecast that ‘life on earth is dying, billions will die and the collapse of civilisation has already begun’. They have also compared global warming to the Holocaust but ‘on a far greater scale’. There is not one shred of evidence for any of this. Look at the facts: In the 1920s, half a million people were killed by weather disasters. In the last decade, the total was 18,000. In 1900, nearly 5% of the world’s land area caught fire. Now the figure is close to 3%. The Great Barrier Reef and polar bears are booming.
The IPPC’s estimate is that sea levels could rise by two feet by the year 2100. How much of a crisis do you think this is, given that one-third of the Netherlands has always been below sea level –some of it over 60 feet below sea level?
The nutters believe this nonsense because they’ve been repeatedly told that it’s true. The BBC says it’s true and doesn’t allow debate. The police allow the cultists to close down London because they’ve been told to let them do what they want to help destroy what’s left of the economy. Incidentally, I see that they erected a huge pink table in London. I wonder what it’s made of – and how much energy was consumed in its manufacture. Were any power tools used? Just curious.

Carbon Dioxide isn’t Warming the Earth. How do we know? It’s simple really …

You have been told that carbon dioxide (“CO2”) is warming the Earth. It’s a lie.
Within a few minutes, host of The New American Ben Armstrong debunks the entire climate change story touted by Al Gore, Greta Thunberg, United Nations, World Economic Forum, corporate media, governments, professors, school teachers and anyone else who follows Agenda 2030’s climate change narrative.
What climate alarmists have done is reverse cause and effect. They are saying the effect of something is the cause, said Armstrong. However, rather than being the cause, CO2 in the atmosphere is the effect of warmer temperatures – first, there are warmer temperatures and then higher CO2 levels in the atmosphere follow.

You know what's really sad is many of us have know the truth about this lie, since Hilary was discussing a carbon tax. Of course, we were called conspiracy theorists.
Carbon Dioxide is a trace element. The more we have, the greener our planet is. The greener our planet is, the more food we have. And the more oxygen we have. Get ride of Carbon Dioxide and the planet dies, along with all of us.
It is all about depopulation. They're even discussing this out loud now. They aren't hiding it.
Like calling abortion health care, and depopulating the world by at least 10% using vaccines. Their words, not mine.
Most of the world leaders love China's policies and the way they handle, or mishandle their citizens. They want those policies for the rest of the world, including us.

It's more than just depopulation.
It's about total socialistic CONTROL of everything.
They use "climate change" to give them power and control. But they cannot control the climate. They can neither cause/create nor prevent hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanoes nor earthquakes.
The depopulation is to CONTROL the number of people on the earth.
The misinformation/disinformation squads are to CONTROL what information we should and should not be able to see. They want to hide the truth while spreading their lies.
The Green New Deal is to CONTROL what corporations can and cannot produce. No more oil/coal/gas, only renewable energy sources which produces only 1/3rd of our consumption of energy. The other 2/3rds come from fossil fuels.
It's all about control. And they want to do it on a global scale.
