Voted 2, McCarthy is entirely within his purview here to keep them off committees, whether they deserve to be or not is an open question that is debatable but McCarthy said he'd do it and he apparently will so it's a done deal.

Swallwell had an affair with a Chinese Communist spy.  Schaffer has lied for years and caused major disruptions to the House getting things done.  He consorted with A Russian journalist trying to smear Trump.

I love how I agreed with you on the basis of your poll question and this is your response, your level of bias is unreal, even if I shared this view and perception of these events, which I don't, it's not the scope of your question, you asked if they should sit on the committees, I clearly indicated that with McCarthy's position and statements he has made that they would not. I also said it was debatable whether they should be on the committees irrespective of McCarthy's probable course of action, didn't say I wanted to debate it.

So I’m expected to censor myself and not comment on your post because you are annoyed that I tried to debate. That makes no sense to me.

You said “whether they deserve to be or not is an open question that is debatable”

Why use the word “debatable” if you did not want to debate it? My reply shows why it’s not a debatable point. They are not qualified. I appreciate you sided with MCarthy, which you did because it’s his right.  Effectively you also shut down any further discussion.

Sometimes, it's best to not argue with some people and just let them be wrong. (* GRIN *)

Democrats removed Green and Gosar from all committees in 2020 which is unprecedented. Now they are vocally complaining loudly about McCarthy’s decision. McCarthy gave them assignments.
